Durgesh Tiwary’s View: When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch in my free time as I found it gripping. The lives of a slum family and a wealthy family living in a luxurious high-rise in Mumbai unexpectedly collide, sparking a chain of events that will change their futures forever.

Visfot written an interesting story where the lives of two couples intersect in spite of the fact that there is no connection between the two couples. Their screenplay is fast paced especially in the first half when the audience is in for one shock after another. The pace slackens a bit in the second half but yet, the drama continues to keep the viewers engaged. The duo’s dialogues are very appropriate and go well with the characters mouthing them. The thriller is knit very beautifully and the way different plotlines converge towards the end is great to watch as a viewer. You learn a lot about Mumbai’s underbelly, and you are also made aware of an entire nexus involving corrupt police officers and informers that become active when they feel they have an opportunity to make dirty money. The camera work is excellent, and it immerses you in the action of the film. Kookie Gulati’s direction is nice. His narration keeps the audience hooked to the proceedings. It boasts solid performances Fardeen Khan and Riteish Deshmukh.

On the flipside, the writing is unconvincing, and no attempt is made to cover it up. It’s bewildering that Aakash took his son to the cafe when he should have ideally dropped him off at school and then continued with his sleuthing. Taking him to the cafe and then leaving from there doesn’t make much sense. Similarly, after the jacket disappeared, Shoaib should have ideally checked with people in the neighborhood if anyone entered his house and took away any item. Instead of doing this most obvious thing, he heads to Lucky’s cafe. All this perhaps was done to set the film for the second half but it could have been done in a better way. Moreover, the film drags a bit in the second half and the ending is slightly unimaginative. The emotional detour takes away from the potential of the thriller, leading to a less impactful conclusion. Despite its intense premise, the film struggles to sustain its gripping momentum after a while. The editing is at fault here.

While movie struggles with uneven pacing and a diluted climax, its strong performances and chaotic, tension-filled narrative offer enough thrills to keep viewers engaged. With tighter execution, it could have been a more unforgettable experience. With good casting, neat and praiseworthy performances, gripping moments makes this film a ideal viewing on OTT. My view on this movie Recommended.
