V Movie Rating: 2.5 Stars
Just watched V movie in Hindi on Amazon Prime Video. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this movie.
Cast: Nani, Sudheer Babu, Nivetha Thomas, Aditi Rao Hydari, Vennela Kishore and Tanikella Bharani
Director: Indraganit Mohana Krishna
Release Date: 4th April 2021 on Prime Video
Story: Movie is set in Hyderabad and it begins when DCP Adithya (Sudheer Babu) handled the riot. He become super cop of the city and most desirable man. His life is truly perfect, especially so when the girl he desires, a wannabe crime novelist called Apoorva Ramanujan (Nivetha Thomas) seems to like him as much as he likes her and so does her family.
A series of gruesome murders by an unknown, mysterious man (Nani) complete with notes addressing Adithya throw a wrench and challenge him to step up his game. The killer leaves enough clues and messages for the DCP. Meanwhile, Aditya seeks the help of his girlfriend in solving the clues left by the killer. But is he a serial killer, and if so, what is his motive?
Positives
1. Nani Acting
2. First Half
3. Direction
4. Screenplay
Negatives
1. Climax
2. Predictable Story
3. Music
4. Stretched and boring 2nd half
Durgesh Tiwary’s View : > When I watched the trailer planned to watch this movie in my free time because it’s an action revenge drama and looks interesting.
DCP Adithya’s life has everything going for him till a criminal decides to challenge him. Who is the killer leaving bodies and his signature ‘V’ behind and what does he have to do with Adithya forms the tale. The biggest drawback is the climax of the film. After all the hype, one feels that there will be a big twist but sadly that does not happen and the film is ended on a silly note.
On the whole, V is a typical revenge drama that does not live up to the hype. It is a film with routine cat and mouse set up but the two stunning heroes make things quite interesting for the audience. But the second half becomes slow with dull narration and a silly ending. Barring this, V is a perfect OTT release that can be only given a shot for its star presence and stylish taking. The only thing you need to do is to lower your expectations while watching the film.. My View on this movie Time Pass!!
