Tuesdays And Fridays Review: A fresh and breezy storyline could have been more interesting with good 2nd half and climax
Tuesdays And Fridays Movie Rating: 2.5 stars

Just watched Tuesdays And Fridays movie on Netflix. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this movie.

Cast: Anmol Thakeria Dhillon, Jhataleka, Zoa Morani, Reem Sheikh, Ibraheem Choudhry, Niki Walia and Parmeet Sethi
Director: Taranveer Singh
Release Date: 16th April 2021 on Netflix

Story: This quirky romantic comedy movie was released in cinemas on 19th Feb 2021 and it is now streaming on Netflix from 16th April. Varun Sarin (Anmol Thakeria Dhillon) is a hot shot writer whose new book is a bestseller and Sia (Jhataleka Malhotra) is an entertainment lawyer.

They both have their distinct way of looking at love. Besides being young, good looking and raring to go, the two also share the insecurities that stem from a broken and dysfunctional family. While Sia is still a little more conventional in her outlook but for Varun all relationships come with an expiry date.

So when they meet parks fly but to make it work they must think of a strategy to combat the regular relationship wear and tear. Varun doesn’t believe in long term relationships, and he follows a ‘7 week rule’, whereby he decides the expiry date of a relationship at the very beginning. Sia doesn’t agree with this so she comes up with a plan according to which they are in a relationship only on two days a week, Tuesdays and Fridays.

On other days, they are allowed to date whoever they want. From there on, the film is a cat and mouse game about who actually has control in this arrangement. What happened next will their plan work and if now how they will meet is all about this movie.

Positives
1. Refreshing story
2. Cinematography
3. Screenplay

Negatives
1. Climax
2. Direction
3. Music
4. Acting

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : > When I watched the trailer planned to watch this movie in my free time because movie story and concept looks refreshing and it is backed by Bhansali and T-series productions.

This movie is about Varun Sarin is a hotshot writer whose new book is a bestseller, and Sia is an upcoming lawyer. Sia is helping Varun in his new book’s rights acquired by a company. One day Sia goes to London because it’s her mother’s 50th birthday. There is a cafe, she meets Varun and now they both decided to meet only on Tuesday and Friday. It’s a new concept for a story and a dating calendar, Would this turn into love or they would be just like another couple, what happened next is all bout this movie

It’s a new concept for a story and a dating calendar that could inspire commitment-phobic millennials to fall in love, on a ‘trial basis.’ There are too many characters and tracks, scrambling for space and attention in a limited runtime here. This film have some funny scenes and good locations but it’s 2nd half and climax is just like regular Bollywood movies which we have seen multiple times Overall, it’s a novel idea with a fresh and breezy storyline that has its moments. But with more depth and soul, this idea of bi-weekly romance could have become a love story for all seasons. My View on this movie Time Pass!!
