Story: In Tripling Season 1 and season 2, we saw the adventures and problems of Chandan, Chanchal and Chitwan. Their parents were sometimes in the background or as supporting characters. In season 3, their parents, Chinmay and Charu’s story, is more in focus. The sibling trio has difficulty accepting that their parents don’t want to be together and have already made individual plans.
Season 3 kicks off with the eldest sibling Chandan (Sumeet Vyas) being informed of his parent’s decision to get separated. He becomes the harbinger of bad news to his estranged siblings Chanchal (Maanvi Gagroo) and Chitvan (Amol Parashar). The news hits the siblings like a ton of bricks, and the three hightail it back home to Manali, to coerce their parents into changing their minds.
Chinmay (Kumud Mishra) and Charu Sharma (Shernaz Patel) are on the verge of separation after 36 years of marriage. Trio has their other problems and struggling in their lives. Chandan is struggling to write his third book after his second book’s failure. Chanchal and her husband Pranav (Kunaal Roy Kapur) are busy in court cases and property disputes and Chitvan is getting ready for a legal battle to get the rights of his ex-girlfriend’s kid.
Still, they try to do everything to make sure the couple stays together. While trying to understand their parents’ situation, the three siblings decide to go on a trek with their parents, in the hope of reuniting them. Will their efforts and tricks save Chinmay and Charu from getting divorced?

Durgesh Tiwary’s View: When I watched the trailer of this web-series it looks interesting and planned to watch in my free time despite not watched the two previous seasons just because it’s by TVF.
Chandan, Chanchal, and Chitwan are shocked to learn about their parents’ separation. But will the last adventure together convince their parents to reconsider their decision and save the family?
This season of Tripling is not about a trip, it is more about homecoming, the circle of life, and self-realization for the three siblings. Unlike the last two seasons, the focus is not the stories of the three Cs but their ever-so-cool and in-love parents. The third season doesn’t have funny situations like the first season, there are very few funny one-liners, but it has an emotional connect that keeps you hooked. Special mention to TVF for always being successful in emotionally connecting with the audience that too with funny and lighter scripts. The end scene depicts how life comes a full circle with Chandan instructing his father to give him a call every few days as he starts his six-month-long bike trip and Chitwan giving his mother money for her new step in life.
It starts off on a slow and boring note. The actors and their half-hearted attempts at humor look jaded, making us wonder if it’s time for the show to hang up its boots. Even the shocking news, revealed in the first few minutes of the first episode, seems contrived and superficial. The first three episodes of Tripling Season 3 thus pass by in a blur of tedium and indifference. Enter the last two episodes, and the story finally picks up steam: as well as gravitas. The drama feels real, poignant, and something every person who’s ever lost their childhood home can relate to. The scene with the siblings on the stairs, in pouring rain, is so emotional and affecting that it’ll bring a tear or two to even the most hardened of people. It is easily the best scene in the entire five episodes of this season. When the siblings question whether things will be the same between them after the dust settles, they lay bare the feelings of scores of kids from broken homes.
Overall, this one is entertaining and high on emotions. Despite focusing more on the family drama, the dramatic scenes never go overboard. The music is quirky, the story is heartwarming, and the performances are good. It has its beautiful moments and what starts as a little unconvincing storyline ends up in being an emotional ride, a reflection of somewhat your own family and your bonds with your siblings. Despite drifting apart what lies in the core is the love for your family and the memories that anchors it.
My view on this web-series is Recommended even if you have not watched the first 2 seasons.
