Tiger (Salman Khan) leads a happy family life with his wife Zoya (Katrina Kaif) and son Junior (Sartaaj Kakkar). Tiger is called for a mission by the new R&AW Chief Maithili Menon (Revathi) to rescue his former handler Gopi Arya (Ranvir Shorey) who was captured while trying to extract information about a dangerous mission being planned by Pakistan.
Tiger rescued him but he succumbs to the brutal injuries. Before dying Gopi informed him that Zoya is also part of this mission which leads him to spying on her. During a mission in Russia finally Tiger gets captured by an ex-ISI agent Aatish Rehman (Emraan Hashmi). He also reveals to Tiger that he had forced Zoya to take the mission by holding Junior hostage.
Aatish tells them to head to Istanbul, Turkey for a dangerous mission that will make them most wanted in their respective countries. He is aided in his mission by Zoya, and three RAW agents Rakesh ji (Kumud Mishra), Karan (Anand Vidhaat) and Nikhil (Chandrachoor Rai).
During this mission both framed as traitors and Tiger imprisoned in Pakistan. There, Tiger realizes that Aatish is not in favor of the Pakistani Prime Minister Nasreen Irani (Simran Bagga) peace proposal to India. Aatish and like-minded people in Pakistan are keen to overthrow/kill their PM and introduce dictatorship in their country in place of democracy.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View: When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch this movie in cinema on release date as liked the trailer and loved previous two movies. Most importantly big fan of Salman Khan.
Tiger and his partner Zoya face a harrowing personal threat when a vengeful terrorist, Aatish Rehman from Pakistan who issues an ultimatum and they must comply with his demands or risk losing their son to a brutal fate.
Tiger 3 movie begins on an interesting note. The first few minutes were exciting, with a good twist. The second half offers a few decent moments for the audience. The narrative is packed with surprises, be it the introduction of characters from other spy films of the universe, as also bringing back the actors who were a part of Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. The action sequences are taken to the next level, as it’s unlike what we have seen in Hindi Cinema before. The team excels in merging the reality of action with the larger-than-life approach. The Tiger and Pathaan crossover sequence is worth all the hype and the creator of the universe, Aditya Chopra deserves all the credit for celebrating two of the biggest icons of Indian Cinema in this manner. Movie major asset is its leading man Salman Khan. Playing front foot for most of the film, Salman doesn’t take too long to get into the skin of Tiger. Supporting cast has been excellent as well.
On the flipside, after an interesting start the narrative loses steam. The story takes some time to set itself up in the first half, and there is too much in the screenplay for the audience to absorb. There is absolutely no emotional touch, making it tough to root for the characters. The other films in the YRF Spy Universe also didn’t have a great plot, but what worked with them was the entertainment factor. Unfortunately, Tiger 3 doesn’t have much entertaining stuff as compared to other films. One more key drawback is that the villain’s role is poorly written. It is getting a bit monotonous, and it would be better if makers can come up with different ideas. The dialogues are good, however, the film warranted bigger punch lines. Coming to the director, Maneesh Sharma, he couldn’t do complete justice, as the film works only in bits and pieces. Also, the whole mission is to save Pakistan and this might not go down well with certain sections of the audience.
Overall, movie qualifies as a good addition to the franchise with enough ammo for mass entertainment. It rides hugely mounted action sequences backed with power performances by Salman Khan. This action-packed entertainer that has all the ingredients for spy universe fans and it’s a perfect treat for Diwali despite few quibbles. view on this movie Recommended.
