Story: The Whistleblower recreates a fictional version of the infamous Vyapam scam of a Madhya Pradesh-based education racket that was exposed in 2013. The story of the show is told through the eyes of a whistleblower who wants to expose the racket. The Vyapam scam is etched in the memory of every citizen, especially millions of students who aspire to take entrance exams for the Pre-Medical Test (PMT) and state government positions. Even after studying for these exams day and night, a student’s future was predetermined by a ring of influential politicians and public servants who ran a racket by rigging the final results and offering seats to some undeserving candidates in exchange for large sums of money.
Set in Bhopal, the series traces the systematic “murder of merit” in a corrupt society through the journey of a final-year medical student Dr Sanket (Ritwik Bhowmik). He is the only son of a renowned doctor Ashwin Badoria (Sachin Khedekar) who is the founder and owner of Reliable Medical Hospital, a private teaching institute.
Sanket is all set to marry Dr Pragya (Ankita Sharma) who is working on Reliable Medical Hospital but also has a like for her sister Prachi (Ridhdhi Khakhar) who wanted to clear the medical examination. She ask Sanket to help to clear the exams which takes him to Jairaj Jatav (Ravi Kishan) coaching center. He charges money from undeserving candidates and crate fake admit cards and send doctors to clear the exams.
Doctor Ashwin Badoria planned to expose this racket but died and Police closed the case as suicide. Sanket knows that there is big scam and Jairaj and other influenced people are behind his father dead. So he become whistleblower and how he expose the entire system is all about this series.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I have watched the trailer of this series planned to watch in my free time because it is based on real life incidents and always loved stories inspired by true events.
The Whistleblower series is inspired by events around the 2013 Vyapam scam was an education racket in Madhya Pradesh that was exposed in 2013. It revealed an entire system involving journalists, politicians, bureaucrats and businessmen employing proxies to appear for medical-seat examinations and supplying forged answer sheets by bribing officials. There were nearly 1,700 arrests and more than 50 unnatural deaths in connection with the case.
It is a difficult task to do justice to such a highly controversial event, which this series only manages to do in parts. The rest of the show is spent juggling too many subplots. Most of them never come across as wholesome or convincing. All they do is drag a chaotic and busy narrative into an endless loop of multiple characters, their relationships, and issues, making it difficult to follow after a while. If you have the time to devote to this nine-part series and are curious about the intricacies of educational scams, this one is a good one time watch. My View on this web-series Recommended.
