The Power Movie Review: Vidyut Jammwal really need to work on his movie selection

Just watched The Power movie on ZeePlex. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this movie.

Story: Movie is set against the backdrop of Mumbai underworld, Kalidas Thakur (Mahesh Manjrekar) runs an organised crime business with the help of his trusted aid Anwar (Zakir Hussain), elder son Ramdas (Jishhu Sengupta) and Ramdas’ brother-in-law (Prateik Babbar) who stays with the Thakur family.
Soon, Kalidas youngest son Devi Das Thakur (Vidyut Jammwal) returns from Singapore and is all set to get hitched to his childhood sweetheart and Anwar’s daughter Pari (Shruti Haasan). There is a rival don, Rana (Sachin Khedekar) who works with other dons, Francis Pinto (Sameer Dharmadhikari), Fakira (Chetan Hansraj) and Ronnie Pinto (Sudhanshu Pandey). It is Rana’s endeavour to become the king of the underworld even by killing Thakur.
However, their marriage plans get thwarted when there is a failed assassination attempt on Kalidas and the finger of suspicion is pointed at Anwar. But in a twist, Anwar gets tricked to death, and Pari swears revenge on the Thakur family. The story moves on the various aforementioned tracks which are all interwoven. Who remains the superman of the underworld in the final tally? Do Devi and Pari get married? Is Devi able to stay away from the underworld? You need to watch this movie before to know the answers

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : > When I watched the trailer it looks very interesting and being a fan of Vidyut Jammwal always planned to watch this movie on first day of release.
Movie start on fascinating note and it keep thrilled me till intermission and I thought it will be something different but unfortunately it started to bored me because of it’s shoddy writing. With such star cast and director it can be always expected to be good but it is effective in parts.
But still if you have Vidyut Jammwal in a action film then you can definitely watch it once you have time. My View on this movie Time Pass!!
