Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 181/6 in their 20 overs after batting first. Terrific effort from Faf du Plessis to guide RCB to 181. They were 7/2 after the opening over which included the wicket of Kohli first-ball. But Maxwell and Faf counter-attacked and even though wickets fell, Faf stayed put. Took calculated risks and was helped in a 70-run stand by Shahbaz Ahmed and then a 49-run stand with DK where the RCB skipper was the aggressor. Faf took on the mantle of batting through and just missed out on his 100 and the second time he has got out for 96 in the IPL. Bishnoi had a poor night and went for 47 while KL did not opt to give Chameera a fourth over. With no dew and the pitch flat, LSG will be hoping to chase this down. Skipper Faf Du Plessis scored 96 runs of 64 balls and Shahbaz Ahmed scored 26 runs of 22 balls. For LSG, Holder & Chameera pick 2 wickets each.
Innings Break!
A brilliant 96 from the Skipper propels #RCB to a total of 181/6 on the board.

Lucknow Super Giants unable to chased the target and scored 163/8 in their 20 overs and lost the game by just 18 runs. It was a chase that never really took off for Lucknow. They lost wickets to the new ball, with Hazlewood breathing fire upfront and once the powerplay wasn’t utilised, the pressure started to mount. That brilliant review to get rid of Rahul was a big moment, as the LSG skipper was settling in for another big knock. His dismissal dented the chase and while Krunal played a fluent little knock, there was hardly any support for him at the other end. Lucknow still did manage to keep the asking rate at a gettable range, but you always got the feeling that RCB had their noses slightly in front. Their bowlers utilised the extra bounce and two-paced nature in the deck a lot better than their opponents, and that’s probably where the game was decided. The target was slightly above-par on this surface and LSG needed someone to play a Faf-like knock to have a realistic shot of chasing this. That never came. Krunal Pandya scored 42 runs of 28 balls and skipper KL Rahul score 30 runs of 24 balls. For RCB, Josh Hazlewood pick 4 wickets for 25 runs in his 4 overs quota.
That's that from Match 31.@RCBTweets win by 18 runs against #LSG.
