Gujarat Titans scored 168/5 runs in their 20 overs after batting first. And all the drama ends up with Gujarat getting to one of those neither-here-nor-there totals. But they’ll be pleased. They’re taking back some momentum, thanks to that late six-ball 19 blitz from Rashid Khan. Remember, RCB were paralysed in their bowling with Harshal Patel splitting his webbing while fielding that weakened their death bowling big time. But they did really well until the 18th over, before Hardik finally found his middle. His was an innings that just didn’t get going. Saha got them off to another solid start, Miller gave a bit of an impetus in the middle overs, Hasaranga bowled nice tight lines even in the 17th over, Maxwell kept it quiet at the start. This pitch clearly isn’t the best. There’s no dew either as of now. Bangalore have to win this to stay alive. Gujarat are playing only for momentum. Skipper Hardik Pandya scored 62* runs of 47 balls and David Miller scored 34 runs of 35 balls. For RCB, Josh Hazlewood pick 2 wickets for 39 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Royal Challengers Bangalore chased down the target successfully by scoring 170/2 in 18.4 overs. Virat, Faf and Maxi all rose to the occasion with the sword hanging on RCB. They have raced to an 8-wicket win and keep their hopes alive. 169 wasn’t supposed to be this easy. But the 100 plus stand for the first wicket between Kohli and Faf killed off the chase. Maxi then came out all guns blazing and put up a show of his own as finished with 40 off 18 balls. Earlier in the evening, GT ended up a par score as Pandya anchored the innings. But the final flourish wasn’t enough as RCB did reasonably well with the ball with the wicket gripping a lot. A small chink in the armour as GT lose their final league game but end up topping the table. A small cue from RCB to other teams in the fray as to how to topple the Titans. Virat Kohli scored 73 runs of 54 balls and Skipper Faf du Plessis score 44 runs of 38 balls. For GT, Rashid Khan picks 2 wickets for 32 runs in his 4 overs quota.
