Lucknow Super Giants scored 168/6 runs in their 20 overs after batting first. Yet another KL masterclass albeit a bit too cautious to start off. Just 32 came off the powerplay and LSG took their time to get going. Pandey and KL played lots of dots during that period before they decided to get going. Regular wickets at the other end derailed KL whenever he was looking set to go all out. But he did not let that bother him and continued batting on till the end. When he had strike, he got the boundaries and biggies going but the others couldn’t replicate that. Eventually he reached his second hundred against MI this season and his innings pushed LSG over 160. 168 on this wicket though is a par score. But remember MI are winless after 7 matches and their batting hasn’t fired at all. So an even game then. Skipper KL Rahul scored 103* runs of 62 balls and Manish Pandey scored 22 runs of 22 balls. For MI, Riley Meredith & Pollard pick 2 wickets each.
Innings Break!
An excellent knock of 103* from @klrahul11 propels #LSG to a total of 168/6 on the board.#MumbaiIndians chase coming up shortly. Stay tuned.

Mumbai Indians unable to chased down the target and scored 132/8 in their 20 overs and lost the game by 36 runs. So their first win at the Wankhede, fifth overall and LSG have climbed into the top four. A hundred from KL Rahul, his second of the season against the same opposition, took them to 168, which isn’t a huge score at this venue, but such has been Mumbai’s plight that they’ve fallen short by 36 runs. It was another failure for Ishan Kishan at the top, taking 20 balls to score 8. Rohit got a start but couldn’t kick on. And with the dismissal of Suryakumar, the hopes started to dwindle again. MI weren’t out of it with 59 needed off the final four overs, with Varma and Pollard at the crease. But the next three overs from Mohsin, Holder and Chameera were just fantastic. Krunal then closed it out for good measure in the final over as MI slipped to their eighth straight defeat this season. Skipper Rohit Sharma scored 39 runs of 31 balls and Tilak Varma score 38 runs of 27 balls. For LSG, Krunal Pandya pick 3 wickets for 19 runs in his 4 overs quota.
That's that from Match 37 and @LucknowIPL take this home with a 36-run win over #MumbaiIndians
