Chennai Super Kings scored 131/5 in their 20 overs. CSK do get 130+ for some respectability. All the change in personnel but it’s that seasoned combo of MS Dhoni-Ravindra Jadeja who had to combine yet again in crisis for CSK. An unbeaten 70-run stand that never looked like going, but whizzed past you in the blink of an eye. 47 runs off 3 overs, that is what wickets in hand can do. But Shreyas and Co. were outstanding for the first 17 overs of the game. They won the toss. Umesh got the ball to talk. He removed both the openers. Sheldon Jackson was sharp to stump Uthappa and then Jadeja ran Rayudu out before Dube gifted his wicket away. At 61/5 it didn’t look good. It all changed when Dhoni told himself “okay it’s not coming on so well, so let me use the pace on the ball.” He picked Dre Russ for three fours. Mavi bowled an outstanding first half of the 19th but CSK roared back to gain the upper hand and get 131. Surely under-par. But we did see dew come in. We did see slower balls grip. Advantage KKR and they will have to play really poor cricket to not cross the line. MS Dhoni scored 50* of 38 balls and Robin Uthappa scored 28 of 21 balls. For KKR Umesh Yadav pick 2 wickets for 20 runs in his 4 overs quota.
Innings Break!
A 70-run unbeaten stand between @imjadeja & @msdhoni propels #CSK to a total of 131/5 on the board.

Kolkata Knight Riders successfully chase the target and scored 133/4 in 18.3 overs and won the game by 6 wickets. Shreyas takes the helmet off with a smile. The KKR fans are elated. When he woke up today even he wouldn’t have imagined his side will have a cakewalk against CSK. KKR ticked a lot of boxes right from the word go. The bowlers set this up for them, 131 was at least 30 runs short of par. CSK got to 131 because they stole 47 runs off the last three overs. Umesh was brilliant with the new ball. Rahane and Venky ensured a wicketless powerplay. DJ Bravo tried his best taking three wickets while also being economical. Rahane held fort at one end and the rest chipped in to get the first points on the board. CSK will be slightly happy that they took this game deep to ensure their NRR doesn’t take a big hit. Ajinkya Rahane scored 44 of 34 balls and Sam Billings scored 25 of 22 balls. For CSK Dwayne Bravo pick 3 wickets for 20 runs.
