Durgesh Tiwary’s View: When I watched the trailer of this web-series, planned to watch this series on premiere day as loved the trailer and liked 1st part of the season in parts. Kabir and the Special Task Group (STG) return to action when Fareed Mir, also known as Al-Damishq emerges as a formidable threat driven by vengeance.
Tanaav Season 2 builds on the groundwork laid in the first, delivering a bigger and more intense experience. With the key players and regional politics now established, viewers can sit back and enjoy the fast-paced, multi-directional narrative. Al-Damishq proves to be a formidable and unpredictable villain, disrupting the delicate political balance and injecting chaos into the story. This edgy revenge drama leaves viewers eager for more, especially since it was released in two parts. The remaining episodes promise to deliver even more excitement. Since it’s set in Kashmir, the picturesque beauty of the valley forms a stark contrast with the tension and violence that unfolds. There’s plenty of action, executed brilliantly, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. The series doesn’t just focus on the conflict between the STG and the terrorists but also explores the internal conflicts within the STG itself. The action scenes are shot excellently, and the cinematography is top-notch.
The series moves at its own pace, which feels appropriate for the narrative. It’s a heavy watch, so those looking for light entertainment may find it a bit overwhelming. One of the few drawbacks would be the slow pace of the initial episodes and how the second season ended. It’s not about a cliffhanger moment, but rather the feeling that something is amiss in the last episode of the new season. It feels incomplete. Here’s hoping the makers make up for it in the following season. However, we would recommend you look at this con to hold your excitement for the third season. Overall, series is better than previous season in terms of storytelling. It precisely explored the backdrop from two perspectives of the Special Task Force team and a terror outfit. Despite its chaotic plot, the series remains engrossing and entertaining. My view on this series Recommended if you liked 1st season.
