Story: It is Zee5 original which released as a feature film and as a six episode series simultaneously. The film revolves around two friends whose lives change forever when a past secret comes to the fore and sets off a chain of violent incidents.

Rohan Kalra (Jim Sarbh) a medical professional in the UK is in a relationship with his colleague from Pakistan Arfa (Kriti Kharbanda). Rohan goes to attend the wedding of his younger brother Krish Kalra (Ankur Rathee) who is marrying to his girlfriend Mahi (Zoa Morani) in 10 days. Sunny (Pulkit Samrat) is Rohan’s best friend and comes to attend his brother wedding.

On the other end of the spectrum are the Brars, a gangster family from Southall, ready to indulge in unspeakable acts of violence at the drop of a hat. Pali Brar (Harshvardhan Rane) is the black sheep of the family, a family that is ruled with an iron hand by elder brother, Kuljinder Brar (Abhimanyu Singh). Pali is engaged in a tragic love affair with Jahaan (Sanjeeda Shaikh) that has left him wounded and unhinged.

The revelation of a dark secret of the past involving Rohan and Kuljinder leads to a savage clash of the two clans, and triggers an avalanche of violence that mangles the two families beyond repair. After knowing the secret Sunny almost kills Kuljinder and now Pali wants the revenge. Will he able to take the revenge. What was dark secret and how Sunny deal with Pali is all about the movie.

2. Direction
3. Music

2. Screenplay
3. Story lacks novelty
4. Dialogues

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Trailer of the movie was very good so this movie was in my watch list. First few episodes were very good but after a point of time it become predictable and we have seen such revenge drama in many Bollywood movies. Expectation was there but it fails to lived up to assumptions.

It shows us the two kinds of quintessential Punjabi families in England. The Southall gangsters who speak Punjabi, where the women always cover their heads and wear salwar kameez while the men of the house engage in violent and criminal activities and the other is the “refined” lot that exclusively speaks English, doctors and lawyers with historic wealth, liberated women with drinks in their hands and a choice in the matter of whom they go to bed with, with people who rarely go by their real names anyway.

Watch it with your own risk. Not Recommended !!
