Suresh Raina follows MS Dhoni and announces retirement from International Cricket. Yes you have heard after MS Dhoni announced his retirement through his Instagram soon after few minutes former Indian cricket team middle order batsmen and one of greatest fielder Suresh Raina also announced his retirement from international cricket.
Raina also used his Instagram account to announced his retirement and writes

This is another shocking news for cricket fans as Suresh Raina is only 33 and he is all set to play IPL which is starting from 19 September and was looking to come back to national team with good performance in the IPL.
Suresh Raina made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka on July 30 2005. One of India’s trusted men on the field, the left-hander scored 5,615 runs from 226 ODIs. He averages 35.3, having scored 36 fifties and five centuries. His Test debut was also against Sri Lanka in the year 2010. He scored 768 runs in the longer format of the game from 18 matches (31 innings) at an average of 26.6.
He last played for India in July 2018 and had failed to make it to the squad for the ICC World Cup. The left-handed batsman has scored 5615 runs in 226 ODIs for India at an average of 35.31. He has also represented India in 18 Test matches and 78 T20Is.
Suresh Raina has played 18 Tests for India scoring 768 runs with one century. He also played 226 ODIs and 78 T20Is scoring 5615 runs and 1605 runs respectively.
He was part of the team that won the 2011 ICC World Cup. He played a pivotal role in India’s triumph in the tournament, playing crucial knocks in the knock-out matches against Australia and Pakistan.
He was the first Indian to score a century across all formats of the game (Test, ODI’s and T20’s). Renowned for his ability in the field, Raina was part of the Indian teams that won the 2011 World Cup and the 2013 Champions Trophy, both under the captaincy of Dhoni.
Suresh Raina is also the second-highest run-getter in the history of the IPL, only behind Virat Kohli. He has played 193 matches in the tournament and has managed to score 5,368 runs at an average of 33.34.
Along with Dhoni he will feature for their IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings during the 13th edition of the tournament in UAE which is set to start from September 19.
