South Indian movies releasing in Hindi market in 2021. This Year we will see biggest releases from south Indian industry so far in Hindi Languages. These movies have also potential to become highest grosser of the year as well. In this post I will discuss all the south movies which will have Pan India release in 2021.
2020 was a horrible year for Bollywood industry and this year we have very good lineup. This will bear fruit in 2022 as the line up will be the biggest ever seen in recent history and the surprise will be if its not a record year. After government have allowed 100% capacity in cinemas many film-makers are announcing their movies.
But the biggest surprise for me is for the first time south Indian movies are gearing up for their biggest releases in Hindi market and that too in festive week and no any Bollywood have announced and ready to clash with these films except RRR who is set to clash with another Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan in Dussehra.
Now let’s discuss the south India movies with it’s release date:
1. Chakra Ka Rakshak
Star Cast: Vishal, Srinath, Regina Cassandra, Robo Shankar, K.R.Vijaya, Srushti Dange and Manobala
Release Date: 19th Feb 2021
Details: This is Vishal first Tamil movie which is dubbed in Hindi and will release in North India as well. Makers have also released the trailer of this film. It revolve around the robbery by a gang of hackers and cyber criminals on the Independence Day of India.
2. Major
Star Cast: Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala and Saiee Manjrekar
Release Date: 2nd July 2021
Details: This is Adivi Sesh first Telugu movie which is being shot in Hindi simultaneously. It is based on Late major Sandeep Unnikrishnnan a NSG Commando, who fought with utmost bravery in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Trailer or teser of this film is not release yet. I will share it once release by makers.
3. KGF Chapter 2
Star Cast: Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tondon and Prakash Raj
Release Date: 16th July 2021
Details: This is biggest film among all and have potential to become the highest grossing movie of the year and may challenge the records of Bahubaali movie as well. It is sequel of KGF Chapter and will focus on fight between Rocky and Adheera for the empire. Teaser of this film have received tremendous response from the audiences.
4. Radhe Shyam
Star Cast: Prabhas, Pooja Hegde, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sasha Chettri, Jayaram and Jagapathi Babu
Release Date: 30th July 2021
Details: Prabhas become Pan India superstar after Bahubali series and now his all movies will be releasing in Hindi. The film is also shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages. It will release exact 2 weeks after much awaited movie KGF Chapter 2. Story of this film is not disclosed yet.
5. Pushpa
Star Cast: Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay and Sunil
Release Date: 13th August 2021
Details: This is Allu Arjun first Telugu movie which is releasing in Hindi Language for North India market. It is also first south Indian movies of this year which will have festive weekend release (Independence Day). Every year we have seen clashes on this holiday weekend and it will be interesting to see if any Bollywood movies will release on this weekend or it will have solo release. Trailer or teaser of this film is not released yet.
6. RRR
Star Cast: Jnr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody
Release Date: 13th Oct 2021
Details: This is director SS Rajamouli first movie after Bahubali series and he has very good fan following in North India market. Movie is set to release on Dusshera 2021 weekend and first south Indian movie of this year which will clash with Bollywood movie Maidaan. Although in both movies Ajay Devgn is acting so there is chances that this clash might avert. It is a fictional story about India’s freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.
Durgesh Tiwary’s View : This is indeed the biggest releases from South Indian Industry in Bollywood Market. It will interesting to see how many Bollywood movies will clash with theses films because these movies have potential to become blockbusters in Hindi market as well.
