Shrikant Bashir Web Series Review: Watch this for SOT team and their mission with gripping storyline that will keep you thrill till last minute
Shrikant Bashir Web Series Review: 3 stars

Just watched Shrikant Bashir Web Series on Sony LIV. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this web series.

Cast: Gashmeer Mahajani, Yudhishthir Singh, Ashmita Jaggi, Pooja Gaur and Vivana Singh , Mantra and Manish Choudhary
Director: Santosh Shetty
Release Date: 11th Dec 2020 (On Sony LIV)
Duration: 26 Episodes/ 25 Minutes

Story: The show zooms in on the lives of two RAW Agents, Shrikant Mhatre (Gashmeer Mahajani) and Bashir Khan (Yudhishthir Singh). While their ideals and ethics are poles apart, they do see eye to eye when it comes to solving cases. Shrikant is the rule-breaker who likes to push boundaries in life, and Bashir abides by the law and adheres to the rules. And when thrown together to solve the biggest case of their lives, it’s beyond guns and glory.

The series picks pace when they Samarullah, a terrorist second-in-command of Lashkar-e-Badr (Tareeq Ahmed Khan) is found injured in a hospital. To ensure his safe return to his country, the organisation threatens to unleash a deadly ebola virus in India with the help of Parker (Mantra). And it is up to Shrikant and Bashir to hunt for an antidote to chaos by putting their ego aside.

It is longest series I have ever watched so it could have made in parts but still it’s a very engaging and gripping due to ample amount of turns and twists. Hat’s off to team to maintain the thrill and suspense till the end.

Positives
1. Gashmeer Mahajani and a strong supporting cast which excellent performance
2. Climax
3. Screenplay
4. Camera work

Negatives
1. Dialogues
2. Mediocre Direction
3. Length
4. Could have been in different parts

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Trailer of this web-series looks interesting and always loved realistic issues. So planned to watch this on release day.

Series start and finish with very fascinating note. Episodes will keep you hooked and you can easily able to connect with it. Series end on cliffhanger and waiting for it’s second season now. You need to spend at-least 2-3 days to complete this series but you will enjoy it completely and even asked for more.

Overall a fast-paced show and engaging because of it’s performances, story and complex issues. My view on this web-series is Recommended.
