They fall in love with each other despite their differences. In no time they tie the knot.
At their wedding reception party they meet Jaggi Sehgal (Sunny Kaushal) is the guy who crashes their wedding. gets so inspired by Gautam’s love philosophy “Agar tum mujhe Paris mein nahin milti tum Amsterdam mein milti. Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch this movie in my free time because of it has Diana Penty and trailer looks good.
A young lover with immense perseverance changes the course of his life to follow the girl, who he thinks is his soulmate. But his journey, spanning across continents, is fraught with problems, reality checks and a seemingly one-sided obsession. Will he find love or perish in the quest for love?
Shiddat begins on a promising note but ends up as a pale cross between a sappy romance and a realistic love story. The problematic story-telling in the initial portions of the film and the superficial writing sinks this ship before it reaches its shores. What could have been a modern, progressive love story is simply reduced to its clichéd version as it zig zags its way Punjab to Calais to London, leaving the outing engaging only in parts and pieces.
The major problem with this film is that it’s an exciting idea on paper that tends to drag in execution, especially in the second half. The story is highly unrealistic at times and preposterous too, but what keeps it going is the sense of volatility and suspense. However, it’s true that in today’s world of realistic cinema, we often don’t get to see completely mad, raw and defiant love stories. This one goes there with Shiddat, but doesn’t leave you deeply moved. My view on this movie Time Pass if you like romantic movies.
