New Zealand scored 161/5 runs in 20 overs. This is comfortably the highest score in the series on what looks like a much better batting surface. Finn Allen provided the turbo-charge, with a 24-ball 41 as the visitors raced away to 58 for 1 in the batting powerplay. The middle overs was a concern once again as the middle-order stalled and it needed a power-packed 37-ball unbeaten fifty from captain Latham to lift the scoring rate. Skipper Tom Latham scored 50* of 37 balls and Finn Allen scored 41 of 24 balls. For Bangladesh Shoriful Islam pick 2 wickets for 48 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Bangladesh unable to chased down the target and scored only 134/8 in their 20 overs and lost the game by 27 runs but won the series by 2-1. A comprehensive victory for New Zealand in what was the best batting strip of the serie. They completely outplayed them except for a period of four overs between 12th and 15th, in which Afif Hossain and Mahmudullah took 50 runs. A poor start and a poor finish as the hosts never came close to chasing down 162. Afif remained unbeaten on a 33-ball 49 which was their only silver lining. Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur continued to struggle and the rest just couldn’t get going. Wickets shared between everyone with Kuggeleijn and Ajaz taking two each. Afif Hossain scored 49* of 33 balls and skipper Mahmudullah scored 23 of 31 balls. For New Zealand Ajaz Patel and Scott Kuggeleijn pick 2 wickets each.
New Zealand win the final T20I by 27 runs.
