Story: In 1942, Aisha (Mehwish Hayat) is chased down by a British officer into the wilderness. She manages to kill him and chances upon a remote village, where a young man with a limp Hasan (Fawad Khan) gives a rousing speech to the villagers. He offers her food and shelter.

They fall in love and have a child, Sana. Five years later, Najma (Nimra Bucha) finds Aisha and orders her to retrieve the bangle. Aisha leaves it with Sana and attempts to flee to the new nation of Pakistan with her family, but Najma finds and stabs her. Amidst the chaos, Sana gets separated from Hasan in the crowd. Aisha collapses as the bangle is activated, bringing Kamala (Iman Vellani) back in time.

Kamala finds Aisha and makes her promise to get Sana on the train before Aisha passes away. Conjuring a projection of stars to lead Sana to her father, Kamala realizes she was destined to reunite them. Returning to the present, she finds that Najma’s strike had opened the Veil of Noor, but it vaporizes anyone who interacts with it. Najma transfers her power to Kamran (Rish Shah) before sacrificing herself to close the Veil.

Sana (Samina Ahmad) and Muneeba (Zenobia Shroff) find Kamala and the latter accepts her daughter’s powers. Meanwhile, Kamran seeks refuge with Bruno (Matt Lintz). After being attacked by a DODC drone, Kamran destroys it, but the ensuing explosion obliterates the store below them.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer planned to watch the each episodes on its premiere date because of new superhero story and its connection to Captain Marvel next movie which will release in 2023.

A 16-year-old Pakistani-American high school student from Jersey City who is an aspiring artist and avid gamer, and writes superhero fan fiction about heroes such as Captain Marvel. Khan gains the ability to harness cosmic energy and create constructs from a magical bangle.

The tonality and visual treatment do well to transport us back to troubled times during the Partition. It serve their purpose in giving a crucial backstory to Kamala’s family history, leading to the fabled train story. The train encounter itself plays out as expected, with Kamala being the missing piece of the puzzle. But as most of the episode focuses on how Aisha and Hasan met, it feels pretty rushed, especially since this is a much shorter episode.

This episode illustrates how the whole series needed more breathing time because it has not capitalized on a solid start. Everything is leading to what may be another rushed MCU finale, and all audiences can do is hope Ms. Marvel can somehow bounce back. Now that she has resolved the tension within her family and Najma is dead, what is Ms Marvel’s pressing conflict? It appears unusual for the plot to play out this way, but we’ll have to see what’s in store for next week’s finale. My view on this series Recommended
