Moon Knight Episode 5 Review: Marc dissociative identity disorder explained in superb way that set the road for exciting finale

Just watched Moon Knight web series 5th episode in Hindi on Disney Plus Hotstar. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this web series.

Story: The fourth episode ended with when Marc (Oscar Isaac) finds Grant in a separate body psychiatric hospital and being greeted by a hippopotamus-headed figure.
Spector (Oscar Isaac) begins shifting back and forth between two different realities while arguing with the therapist “Dr. Harrow (Ethan Hawke) and interacting with Grant and the hippotamus-headed woman, who Grant identifies as the Egyptian goddess Taweret (Antonia Salib). She explains that Spector and Grant are dead and that the “hospital” is actually inside a boat sailing through the Duat, the Egyptian underworld.
Taweret begins weighing Spector and Grant’s hearts on the Scales of Justice to determine whether they will be allowed to enter the Field of Reeds (the Egyptian afterlife’s paradise), but finds that their hearts are incomplete. She advises them to help each other uncover whatever hidden memories are causing the imbalance. After encountering a room full of criminals who Spector killed on Khonshu’s orders, Grant sees a memory where a young Spector and his younger brother Randall were trapped in a flooding cave which led to Randall drowning and Spector’s mother Wendy Spector (Fernanda Andrade) blaming him for his brother’s death.
Spector then shows Grant how he became Khonshu’s avatar, before Taweret informs them that many souls from the living world are being judged and sent to the afterlife before their time. Spector and Grant convince Taweret to help them return to the living world to stop Harrow and she steers the boat towards the Gates of Osiris. Dr. Harrow convinces Spector that he has to fully open up to Grant and Spector reluctantly explains that he unknowingly created Grant as a result of their mother’s abuse, while also revealing that their mother is dead.
Grant and Spector come to terms with each other, but their scales still fail to balance and the boat is attacked by hostile spirits. They fight off the spirits but Grant falls overboard and is consumed by the Duat. The Scales are balanced and Spector finds himself in the Field of Reeds.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I have watched the trailer of this series planned to watch on premiere day because it is presented by Marvel and always liked superhero films.
Episode 5 perfectly depicted the trauma and origins of how Marc become Moon Knight and also how he developed steven’s personality. We’re one episode away from the finale, and the show continues to maintain its consistency in delivery and vision while still being wildly unpredictable The character study into Marc’s DID (dissociative identity disorder) takes a deep, dark turn as we finally get into the beginning of the Moon Knight. When a list of the most unique ways to tell a superhero origin story is eventually compiled, this one could easily top it. As Marc and Steven delve into well, primarily Marc’s memories, they encounter all of the mercenary’s dead targets, discover how Steven came about and subsequently, how Marc met Khonshu.
It’s a whirlwind of a journey that’s equally chilling as is tragic. Even though there isn’t a lot of action, there’s significant emotional investment throughout this penultimate episode. Heading into the finale, there’s no telling where the show is headed and how it plans to wrap up all its narrative threads, as it intends to keep us guessing until the end. Overall, this was a super great episode, thrilling and strange. And we cannot wait until next week’s undoubtedly action-packed finale. Will there be a Doctor Strange/Moon Knight encounter as its last episode is coming when movie is releasing. Overall an interesting finale is coming. My View on this web-series Recommended.
