Mega clash at the box-office on Baisakhi 2022. Yes you have read it right and we are set for one of biggest clash of the Bollywood as four biggies are releasing on Baisakhi 2022. Today Aamir Khan announced the new release of their upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha and it will release in cinemas on 14th April 2022. Earlier this film was slated to release on 11th February 2022 but against postponed due to VFX as the team is using ageing and de-ageing technology and it is high VFX film. The process is taking longer than expected as they are looking for nothing but perfection.
This would mean that the film would be clashing with Yash starter KGF 2 and Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya which also stars Kriti Sanon in the lead. Another movie is also slated for release this day is Prabhas starrer Salaar. However, since Salaar and KGF 2 are directed by Prashant Neel so Salaar is expected to be pushed ahead. But as of now release date is 14th April 2022.
This can be easily term as one of the biggest clash of Bollywood as all movies are highly anticipated film. While several filmmakers have been shifting release dates to avoid clashes, it remains to be seen if any of the makers will budge from the 14th April 2022. However, the industry is now abuzz that the makers of Bhediya are planning on rescheduling the release of the Varun Dhawan starrer which will be very good decision as it will barely sustain as the expectation from other films are very high.
Since Laal Singh Chaddha and KGF 2 come with huge expectations and budgets, not to mention the stars, Bhediya might have a tough task at the box office. To ensure the film gets the best possible showcasing, it is being heard that that the makers may push ahead its release. After that makers of same film Hombale Films announced the release date of one the much awaited and anticipated movie KGF 2 on the same day. So it is certain that Prabhas starrer will not release this day but still new release date is announced by makers so still we cannot deny the presence of this action starrer.
Bhediya was 3rd film announced on the same day by producer Dinesh Vijan even knowing that a biggies is releasing which is a brave decision now since Aamir Khan film is releasing so in such case if the release of Bhediya is pushed it will certainly be a good move for the business prospects of the film. Durgesh Tiwary’s View : I am very excited for this clash as I have so many choices but I am looking forward for KGF 2 as I have watched the first part and it was awesome and then I will go for Aamir Khan starrer. In my view decision to release date of LSC is not correct as f the clash wont avert then KGF will eat substantial biz in Hindi Belt where it will have no chance in south belt. It will be quadruple bonanza for audiences on 14th April 2022 as they will have different content to watch and they can deicide which film they will watch first.
