Australia bowled out for 188 runs in 34.4 after batting first. Australia have been bundled out with 14.2 overs to spare! Superb performance from the Indian bowlers. Siraj, as he usually does, struck early to remove Travis Head. Mitchell Marsh and Steve Smith joined hands and the duo scored at a brisk rate as they stitched a half-ton partnership. The skipper fell to an innocuous delivery from Hardik but that didn’t stop Marsh from registering his 14th ODI fifty. He upped the ante after his half-century and put the Indians under immense pressure. Australia would have eyed at least 300 when Marsh was going strong. But the hosts had other ideas. Ravindra Jadeja provided the crucial breakthrough by dismissing Marsh for 81 and then took a screamer to send Labuschagne packing. Australia boasted of a long batting line-up. However, Mohammed Shami was outstanding in his second spell. He was right on the money and picked three wickets in three overs which also included two wicket-maidens. Siraj applied the finishing touches by adding two more wickets to his tally. Australia lost their last eight wickets for just 59 runs and they’ve ended with a below-par score on a pitch where there’s some assistance for the seamers. This is Australia’s lowest first innings team total against India since MCG 2008. Mitchell Marsh scored 81 runs of 65 balls and Josh Inglis scored 26 runs of 27 balls. For Team India, Mohammed Siraj & Shami picks 3 wickets each.
Innings Break!#TeamIndia bowlers put up a fine show here at the Wankhede Stadium as Australia are all out for 188 runs in 35.4 overs.
Three wickets apiece for Shami and Siraj.

Team India chased down the target by scoring 191/5 in 39.5 overs and won the game by 5 wickets. India hunted down the total with 10.1 overs to spare but they were made to toil hard. The new ball swung and seamed around and Australia reduced the hosts to 16/3 in five overs. Stoinis provided the first breakthrough and Starc was at his fiery best removing Kohli and SKY off successive deliveries. The left-arm speedster should have dismissed Gill on 2 as well but Josh Inglis put down a catch. The Indian opener survived a few close shaves but he failed to capitalise as he eventually fell to Starc and thereby becoming the latter’s third victim. At 39/4, Hardik Pandya joined KL Rahul and the duo looked to steady the ship. The Aussies kept applying the pressure and Stoinis broke the 44-run stand by bouncing out Hardik. In walked Ravindra Jadeja who had earlier initiated the Aussie collapse by removing a well-set Mitch Marsh (the only batter who looked at ease). The southpaw and KL batted calmly. There were a few plays and misses, there were a few streaky shots but the pair batted with a lot of discipline and stitched a brilliant match-winning partnership. Rahul notched up his 13th ODI fifty in the process and Jadeja too remained unbeaten on 45 in addition to his 2-fer and a screamer in the field. KL Rahul scored 75* of 91 balls and Ravindra Jadeja scored 45* runs of 69 balls. For Australia, Mitchell Starc picks 3 wickets for 49 runs in his 9.5 overs.
