Today I will share the List of player who have opted out from Dream 11 IPL 2020. Yes, we have Indian and foreign players who have decided not to play in this season which will kick-start from 19th September 2020 in UAE.
Player who have opted out from Dream 11 IPL along with their IPL team are:
1. Suresh Raina (CSK)
2. Harbhajan Singh (CSK)
3. Lasith Malinga (MI)
4. Jason Roy (DC)
5. Chris Woakes (DC)
6. Kane Richardson (RCB)
7. Harry Gurney (KKR)
As you can see first three of them are the biggest players of Indian Premiere league and their team are dependent on them. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are winners most of times as compare to other teams and they are biggest teams of the throughout all the seasons.
Lasith Malinga for Mumbai Indians won many games including finals while Suresh Raina and Harbhajan singh is star players of Chennai super sings.
1. First player was Suresh Raina who recently retired from international cricket and was all set to play for Chennai Super Kings in this IPL but opted out due to personal reason Raina opted his name for this complete season.
The left-hander, who has represented CSK in all 10 seasons that the franchise has been a part of IPL. He is also 2nd highest run getters in IPL after Virat Kohli.
CSK are unlikely to name a replacement for their highest run-scorer for this season. CSK management confirmed his return to Indian on their official Twitter account.
Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time.

2. Another CSK player and Indian veteran spin bowler Harbhajan Singh pulled out his names from this season cited personal reasons.

Harbhajan Singh informed us he wonโt be available due to personal reasons. Team Chennai Super Kings is supportive of his decision and stands by him and his family during these testing times.

Chennai Super Kings CEO KS Viswanathan also confirmed this news and share this news on Twitter. Harbhajan said that he was indebted to the CSK management for understanding his priorities. They are also unlikely to name any player for star bowler replacement.
3. Mumbai Indians veteran bowler Lasith Malinga opted out from this season citing personal reason and return to his home Sri Lanka. The 37-year-old is the most successful bowler in IPL’s history

Mumbai Indians Owner Akash Ambani Said ” James is the right fit for us and adds to our pace attack options available at hand especially for the conditions we will play in this season in UAE,โ.
โLasith is a legend and a pillar of MI’s strength. There is no denying the fact that we will miss Lasith’s cricketing acumen this season. However, we fully understand Lasith’s need to be in Sri Lanka with his family during this time,โ Ambani added.
4. England opener batsman Jason Roy opted out from this season as he suffered a side strain in the series against Pakistan, decided to opt out of IPL 2020 to allow sufficient time to recover from the injury.
Delhi Capitals replaced Roy with Australian seamer Daniel Sams. The left-armer was the top wicket-taker in last yearโs Big Bash League (BBL).

5. England all-rounder Chris Woakes also opted out for this season of IPL. He was also part of Delhi Capitals and pulled out his name without giving any reasons. He is replaced by South African fast bowler Anrich Nortje in the squad.
On their Twitter account they informed the same. Nortje was part of the Knight Riders squad in last IPL but did not get a game due to injury. He will be joining hands with Kagiso Rabada and Ishant Sharma to form a formidable Delhi pace line-up.

6. Australian fast bowler Kane Richardson who was part of Royal Challengers Banglore for this season also opted out be with his family due to birth of his first child.
Australian pacer said pulling out of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) was difficult but definitely a right decision as he didn’t want to miss the birth of his first child in the wake of travel restrictions due to the raging COVID-19 pandemic.
โIโm disappointed to miss the IPL but hopefully there are opportunities ahead for that,โ he further added. RCB named Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa as his replacement and shared the same through Twitter account.

Royal Challengersโ team director Mike Hesson said โWe are disappointed to not have Kaneโs skills with us this IPL as he certainly on top of his game. However once we found out Kane and Nykiโs baby was due during the IPL, itโs an exciting time and we were fully supportive of Kane wanting to be at the birth of the first child.
When looking at our squad for UAE conditions we felt it was an opportunity to bring in another quality leg spinner in Adam Zampa to provide cover for Chahal and also give us extra options if conditions suit spin as expected during the tournament,โ Hesson said.
7. England left-arm pacer Harry Gurney was ruled out IPL 2020 with a shoulder injury. Gurney who was drafted into the KKR squad in last IPL as a replacement was retained ahead of this season. He played eight matches for KKR last season.
Yesterday team management replaced him with USA player Ali Khan and shared the same on their Twitter account. He is the first US player ever who will be part of IPL.
