Khaali Peeli Movie Review: This mad ride can be skipped

Just watched Khaali Peeli movie on Zee Plex. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this movie.

Story: It is an action love story that spans over a decade. Blackie (Ishaan Khatter) and Pooja (Ananya Panday) are childhood friends who were separated soon after their friendship had just about begun to blossom. They meet under strange circumstances after about a decade. By then, Blackie has graduated from being a black marketeer of cinema tickets to a cab driver. Pooja is on the run from her tormentors. As a child, it had been his ardent desire to become like Yusuf Chikna (Jaideep Ahlawat), an underworld don under whose guidance he had learnt to use the revolver. Strangely, Blackie finds himself fighting his own mentor in the end.
Through a series of flashbacks, we get a sneak-peek into Blackie’s childhood and how he became a street-smart taxi driver. In present times, one night, Blackie’s life picks up speed when he commits a ‘half murder’ and a girl named Pooja who is on the run after stealing a bag filled with valuables. Intertwined by a ‘past’, the duo hit the road with goons and cops hot on their heels. Will this hero and his heroine get a perfect happy ending? The rest of the film holds an answer to that

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer its looks mediocre but still big names like Ali Abbas Zafar associated with this movie as a producer so still planned to watch this movie.
First half is quite entertaining, despite absence of logic due to great dialogues and superlative performances but after a point of time movie will be repetitive and started to bore you due to lengthy time. Climax is also not good enough to entertain you in the end.
If you want a time pass movie with friends or family watch it else you cane easily SKIP IT
