KGF Chapter 2 Review: Rocky Bhai stylish attitude, dialogues delivery and action makes this sequel a wholesome entertainer

Just watched KGF Chapter 2 movie in Hindi in Cinemas. So let’s focus on the complete details, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this movie.

Story: Sequel begins from where it finished in Chapter 1. The film begins with Vijayendra Ingalagi (Prakash Raj) who is the son of Anand Ingalagi (Anant Nag) taking over as the narrator. Rocky (Yash) has taken control of the Kolar Gold Fields after freeing the slave-labourers from their tyrant masters and eliminating Garuda (Ramachandra Raju).
Guru Pandian (Achyuth Kumar), Andrews (B S Avinash), Rajendra Desai (Lakki Lakshman) had expected to rule KGF and take over its immense wealth. However, Rocky with the help of the slaves who consider him a messiah usurps the throne. He even kills Virat (Vinay Bidappa), brother of Garuda and the heir apparent to the KGF throne.
But his quest to become the most powerful man continues and he works relentlessly towards attaining that status because he had given his word for that to his mother before she had died. He also discovers that there are several unexcavated mines in the area and he orders the men to start extracting gold from these places. The idea is to discover as much gold as possible in the shortest possible time.
Meanwhile, Adheera (Sanjay Dutt) who is the brother of Suryavardhan was presumed dead but he is alive and arrives at KGF for revenge and to claim ownership. The new Prime Minister of India, Ramika Sen (Raveena Tandon) also vows to eliminate Rocky for all his illegal activities and crimes. Dreaded gangster from Dubai Inayat Khalil (Balakrishna) is also behind him. How Rocky fights all these elements and what happened to Rokcy forms the rest of the film.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch this movie on digital premiere because loved Suriya last few movies and this one also looking excellent.
The film begins with Vijayendra Ingalagi, the son of Anand Ingalagi, taking over as the narrator. Rocky has won over the people of KGF and he is now in the process of dreaming bigger and treading more dangerous paths. In this process, he encounters Adheera, who is inspired by the Vikings and evokes visceral fear, who wants KGF back. Simultaneously, he also has to encounter the righteous Prime Minister Ramika Sen, who also wants Rocky taken down.
KGF Chapter 2 story that moves like a rocket and screenplay has so many twists and turns that if a viewer were to get distracted for even a second. It keeps the audiences so engrossed that the confusion doesn’t come in the way of their enjoyment. There are multiple scenes which need special mention and are clap worthy. Although it is an out-and-out tension-ridden action drama, the few romantic scenes there are, are heartwarming. While on the point of applause, it must be mentioned here that a number of scenes and dialogues evoke thunderous applause in the cinemas but one may miss hearing that because the background music throughout is very very loud.
Prashanth Neel’s direction is remarkable. He does an extraordinary job of the narration and makes the film a wholesome entertainer for all age groups. His direction if of international standards. The way he had shown the world of KGF in Part 1 had already impressed viewers. In the sequel, he takes the grandeur and scale one step ahead. He has ensured that there’s tons of drama and action throughout the film.
KGF 2 starts on a fine note but it gets better with the stylish entry of Rocky. It’s sure to create a frenzy in cinemas. Adheera’s entry is menacing while the first confrontation between Rocky and Adheera is quite gripping. The intermission point springs a surprise and will be loved by moviegoers. A few scenes work big time just due to the acidic one-liners. Two scenes that stand out here are Rocky meeting Ramika Sen in the PMO and Rocky heading to the police station to retrieve the gold piece. The latter is sure to stun viewers! The finale, as expected, is out of this world. Overall movie is a blockbuster all the way. The film has already generated a tremendous craze and due to the hype, popularity of the first part, mass element and of course Yash’s stylish avatar. My view on this movie Highly Recommended.
