JL50 Web Series Review: Watch this for it’s honest attempt

Just watched JL50 Web Series on Sony LIV . So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this web series.

Story: JL50 is a Hindi Sci-Fi thriller drama written and directed by Shailender Vyas. It was supposed to be a movie before it was divided into a four-part series, each episode’s runtime is around 30 minutes.
The story revolves around a plane that took off 35 years ago but crashes a week back. This leads to an investigation into how a flight that went missing 35 years ago could appear out of nowhere. CBI officer Shantanu (Abhay Deol) gets into the bottom of the mystery to decodes this confounding investigation.
Love the point where Pankaj Kapoor slams the people who bat their eyes when Indian stories try the same fantasy and sci-fi tropes as Hollywood. He says we refuse to accept what India has to offer, focusing instead on the ‘mandir-masjid, Hindu-Muslim, andhvishwas.
Kudos to Shailender Vyas who has created JL50, and introduces the time travel fiction genre to the Indian audience. The plot of the show is intriguing and quite fascinating. With an interesting storyline, the show also has some noteworthy performances.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : After watching the teaser and trailer of this web-series I was really excited. It starts with a great note and keep fascinating me to know more.
This edge-of-your-seat thriller will keep me hooked in the initial two episodes. The third and fourth episode is worthy but depth is missing. The crisp editing, better VFX, and engaging screenplay could have been made this show more impressive.
Don’t compare with any sci-fi movies or web series. Watch it for honest attempt. Recommended!!
