Team India scored huge 247/9 in their 20 overs. Thatβs a daunting first innings total posted by India. Their best batting effort in this series without a doubt. Samson, Tilak and Dube played cameos, but Abhishek Sharma stole the show tonight. The left-handed opener punished most of the England bowlers throughout his innings and looked lethal against both β spin and pace. He notched up his second T20I ton in the process and got there only in 37 balls. Jofra Archer was all over the place and proved to be expensive, but Carse was the best of the England bowlers as he took three wickets in his spell. India did lose steam towards the end as they lost wickets in a cluster, but Abhishek struck a few lusty blows before departing in the 18th over. Wood bowled an excellent 19th over as he conceded only 3 runs in it. As a result of that over, India couldnβt get over the 250-run mark. Can the England batters make a match out of this and entertain the Wankhede crowd further? Abhishek Sharma scored 135 runs of 54 balls and Shivam Dube scored 30 runs of 13 balls. For England, Brydon Carse picked 3 wickets for 38 runs in his 4 overs quota.

England unable to chase this mammoth target and bowled out for just 97 runs in 10.3 overs and lost the game by 150 runs and series by 1-4. After a sensational knock by Abhishek Sharma earlier in the evening, they came out and bundled England out for just 97 on a belter of a pitch. Phil Salt hammered a 21-ball fifty, but none of the other batters got going at all with Chakravarthy and Bishnoi removing the cream of their batting once more. To top it off, Shivam Dube showed that he isnβt too bad with the ball either as he got rid of Salt with his very first delivery before Shami came back and wrapped up the lower order in no time. Philip Salt scored 55 of 23 balls and Jacob Bethell scored 10 runs of 7 balls. For Team India, Mohammed Shami picked 3 wickets for 25 runs in his 2.3 overs.
