Team India scored huge 222/3 in their 20 overs after batting first. Another daunting total posted by India. They managed to score 230-odd in the previous match, and they almost scored a similar total today. Jaiswal and Kishan departed without contributing much as India were rocked early, but SKY and Ruturaj steadied the ship thereafter. The pair added 57 runs before the captain departed, but Ruturaj took complete control following that. The elegant opener shifted gears drastically after notching up his fifty and got to the three digit-score (his maiden T20I ton) in a canter. Hardie went for 25 runs in the 18th over, while Maxwell conceded 30 runs in the final over. It was absolute carnage by Ruturaj as he has taken India closer to a series win. Chasing 223 is not going to be easy despite this being a good wicket to bat on. Will Australia manage to get anywhere close, or will India make it 3-0? Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 123* runs of 57 balls and skipper Suryakumar Yadav scored 39 runs of 29 balls. For Australia, Richardson, Behrendorff & Hardie picked 1 wicket each.
Innings Break!
An unbeaten 123 off 57 deliveries from @Ruutu1331 guides #TeamIndia to a formidable total of 222/3.

Australia chased the target on the last ball of 20th over by scoring 225/5. Maxwell has done something only he can do again tonight! He’s due to fly back home after this game and he’s given his side a parting gift of a win before heading off. Australia were always in the chase, in fact they were ahead of India throughout and a bit of magic from Maxwell got them through when things got tight. Head and Hardie got them off to a brisk start and while there was a bit of a slump in the middle with a couple of wickets falling, Maxwell kept the momentum going. Matthew Wade played an important hand too right towards the end and Maxwell got to his century in the last over. Spare a thought for Prasidh Krishna, he was given the toughest task of the night – had to defend 21 off the last over with Maxwell at the crease and an extra fielder in the ring. An absolute run-feast today, 447 runs were scored tonight and Australia come up clutch to keep the series alive 2-1. India would’ve been very happy at the halfway stage, a scintillating century from Ruturaj Gaikwad got them past 220 once again. Conditions were great for batting and India got a massive boost towards the end – the final over bowled by Maxwell went for 30. As it turns out though, it wasn’t quite enough with Maxwell being in a destructive mood. He overshadowed Gaikwad’s knock with a century of his own and remedied his errors with the ball. Glenn Maxwell scored 104* of 48 balls and Travis Head scored 35 runs of 18 balls. For Team India, Ravi Bishnoi picked 2 wickets 32 runs in his 4 overs quota.
That's that from the third T20I, Australia win by 5 wickets.
