ICC World Cup 2023: Chase master Virat Kohli unbeaten century helps an emphatic win for Team India against Bangladesh. They won the game by 7 wickets at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. Now I will share the details of this game match in my way.

4th Game (India Vs Bangladesh)
Game Date: 19th October 2023
Details:
Bangladesh stand-in captain Najmul Hossain Shanto won the toss and elected to bat first in the 4th game of ODI World Cup 2023 against Team India at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. No change in playing XI for the Indian Team.

Bangladesh scored 256/8 runs in their 50 overs after batting first. India will be chuffed at having restricted Bangladesh to 256. They did get the start which promised more, Tanzid and Litton added 93 off 88 balls and Bangladesh were off to a flier. The former was dismissed after his maiden half-century and that marked India’s comeback – 93 for 0 quickly became 137 for 4 and India were back on top. Mushfiqur Rahim held the middle order together with 38 and Mahmudullah made a fine 36-ball 46, taking their team past the 250-run mark. India were a bowler short with Hardik hobbling away in his first over, they’ll be hopeful that it’s nothing serious, that forced Rohit to bowl Shardul for a lot more overs and the all-rounder went for 59 off his 9 overs. Bumrah was superb as usual, Siraj came back well after an ordinary first spell and India’s spinners were right on money. Can India chase down 257 and maintain their unbeaten record in #CWC23? Litton Das scored 66 runs of 82 balls and Tanzid Hasan scored 51 runs of 43 balls. For Team India, Bumrah, Siraj & Jadeja picked 2 wickets each.

Team India chased down the target by scoring 261/3 runs in 41.3 overs and won the game by 7 wickets. The crowd came to watch India win and the crowd came in to see at least one Indian score a hundred. It didn’t look that way when they were coasting along with around 25 runs to win, but Kohli took it onto himself to reach the 3-digit score. Out came the aggressive shots, he refused singles unless it was the last ball of the over, ran hard to convert ones into twos and left KL watching as a mere spectator as he reached his hundred with the winning blow. 257 was going to be a challenging score, but Rohit, the new-look Rohit put India in control with a 40-ball 48, he was one of the three Indians who got dismissed looking to clear the ropes, but India were hardly tested. Shubman Gill helped himself to a half-century, Kohli made another hundred, his 48th in ODIs and KL Rahul helped himself to a neat little 34*. Bangladesh never really tested this strong Indian batting line-up and they’ve slipped to their 3rd straight loss. India though continues to dominate and remain unbeaten, with 4 successful chases from 4 matches. Virat Kohli scored 103* of 97 balls and Shubman Gill scored 53 runs of 55 balls. For Bangladesh, Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked 2 wickets for 47 runs in his 10 overs quota.
