Director: Satramm Ramani
Release Date: 3rd September 2021 on Zee5 Premium
Story: Film story is about a young man who has had multiple professional doors slammed in his face and finally through a series of circumstances finds himself in the condom sales business.
Film opens with a commentary on the exploding population of India equating its growth to that of an increase in a beautiful girl’s Instagram followers. Soon, we see how a group of NAAP volunteers end up getting beaten black and blue by the crowd when they try to conduct a survey on the usage of condoms at Raj Nagar.
On the other hand Lucky (Aparshakti Khurana) an unwanted child who grew up in an orphanage is now wedding band singer and keen to get hitched to his girlfriend Rupali (Pranutan Bahl) who supplies floral arrangements for shaadis.
But Rupali father (Ashish Vidyarthi) has objection due to his financial status and his eyes on some other MBA-Harvard graduate. Lucky is running out of options because no one was giving loans or work due to Rupali father. In order to make a quick buck so that he can start his own band, and get married to Rupali Lucky and his friends Sultan (Abhishek Banerjee) and Minus (Ashish Verma) hatch a plan to rob an e-commerce company truck carrying mobile phones.
However much to their dismay the trio later discover that the looted boxes contain packets of different flavoured condoms instead of electronic gadgets. How the trio dispose of the stolen warea and are later glorified by an NGO that’s conducting research for the NAAP (National AIDS Awareness Programme) forms the crux of the story.
Positives
1. Excellent Performances
2. Concept
3. Screenplay
Negatives

3. Direction
4. Story
Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch this movie on its release day as it was based on fresh concept and trailer was looking good.
Three friends Lucky, Sultan and Minus hail from the fictitious town of Rajnagar and want to quickly rustle up money. Lucky loves Rupali but Rupali’s dad has his eyes on some other MBA-Harvard graduate. So they plan to loot a truck full of mobile phones, but instead get hold of one with cartons stuffed with condoms. They are shocked. Lucky can’t believe his luck. He now has a bulk of condoms at his disposal, the very product he can’t go and buy from the friendly neighbourhood chemist for fear of ridicule and judgement. What will Lucky’s next move be?
A novel premise though partially wasted by ham-handed treatment. The narrative is entertaining up to the point where condoms become money-spinning merchandise for Lucky but Shoddily script sinks into unimaginable depths in just about every field. Movie takes on a brave theme but the subsequent holding back robs it of much potential depth, and limits the discussion on condoms in the film mostly to one dimension. A film with a social message doesn’t necessarily need to be burdened by it. My view on this movie Time Pass !!
