Story: Movie revolves around Haddi (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who robs dead bodies from their funeral processions for commercial gains in Allahabad. After police raid, he moved to Delhi and joins a group of transgender sex workers and gang of criminals comprising Sattu Bhai (Rajesh Kumar) and Chunna (Shriidhar Dubey), which is headed by Inder (Saurabh Sachdeva).
The evil boss of this gang is politician Pramod Ahlawat (Anurag Kashyap), who will go to any lengths to get what he wants. He gains their trust and becomes an important member of their team. What is Haddi’s ultimate motive and what will be the consequence of his actions forms the crux of this hotch-potch of a story.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View: When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch this movie in my free time as trailer looks good in parts and engaging.
A ruthless transgender is on a mission to exact revenge from those who destroyed her life. But she is full of dark secrets and runs a shady business that could blow her cover, before her mission is accomplished.
Haddi script has nothing new to offer except for a few emotionally resonating gory scenes which helped make the storyline engaging. The Beparda song is exquisitely sung and composed and picturized in mesmerizing fashion. The song and its picturization are definitely the highlight of the film. It gives us an extended, never-seen-before look at the transgender community, and the heartwarming way they support others of their ilk. The childhood scenes of Hari/Harika are spine-chilling, especially the lynching scene. Nawazuddin Siddiqui proves once more that he is a master at getting beneath the skin of a character by portraying two very different personalities. Anurag Kashyap gives a standout performance as the bad guy.
On the flipside, the film suffers as it’s confusing. The film follows the conventional style of beginning the story from the mid-point, making the viewers curious and then coming up with the back story. This formula has worked successfully for many films. It fails as it confuses viewers. Until the flashback begins, one is utterly bewildered, wondering what is happening in the film. Even after the flashback, a few questions remain unanswered. The romantic angle is very weak. Moreover, there are far too many cinematic liberties. It’ll surely leave viewers shocked. Overall, movie rests on Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Anurag Kashyap’s powerful performances. But it suffers big time due to the confusing narrative, lack of logic and too many cinematic liberties. My view on this movie Not Recommended.
