Ginny Weds Sunny Movie Rating: 2 stars
Just watched Ginny Weds Sunny movie on Netflix. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this movie.
Cast: Vikrant Massey, Yami Gautam, Rajiv Gupta, Ayesha Raza and Suhail Nayyar
Director: Puneet Khanna
Release Date: 9th Oct on Netflix
Story: Our hero Sunny AKA Satnam Sethi (Vikrant Massey) who is a fantastic chef and wants to set up a tandoor restaurant in West Delhi, but his father (Rajiv Gupta) ask him to settle down first. But no girls were interested in Sunny so his father consults a matchmaker (Ayesha Raza), who is also the mother of Sunny’s childhood crush Ginny (Yami Gautam). She wanted her daughter to marry as well but Ginny wants to fall in love first to marry.
Ginny is still stuck up with her commitment-phobic ex boyfriend Nishant (Suhail Nayyar) who refuses to let her ‘move on’. When Ginny mother sees her daughter with Sunny shaking a leg together at a wedding, she believes that they are a match made in heaven. Sunny who has always harboured a crush on Ginny since their school days, sets out to make Ginny fall for him with the help of her mother. Can the mother orchestrate this unlikely romance and how Sunny and Ginny weds together is all about the story.
