Dream11 IPL Match 44: CSK beat RCB by 8 wickets. Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.

44th Game (Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs Chennai Super Kings)
Game Date: 25th Oct 2020
Details:
Royal Challengers captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first in the 44th game of IPL 2020. RCB included Aaron Finch, AB de Villiers, Chris Morris and Moeen Ali as four foreign players for this game. One change in playing XI as they have included Moeen Ali in place of Isuru Udana.

Four foreign players of CSK for this game was Faf Du Plessis, Sam Curran, Mitchell Santner and Imran Tahir. Two changes in team and they have included Mitchell Santner and Monu Kumar in place of Josh Hazlewood and Shardul Thakur.

Royal Challengers Bangalore scores 145/6 in their 20 overs which is decent total on this pitch. It was another failure for Finch, and Paddikal threw away his wicket after getting a start too. The spinners were quite impressive in the middle overs as they didn’t let AB and Kohli take them on. The pair did get those odd boundaries, but the foundation of their partnership was based on singles and twos. However, it wasn’t a finish RCB would have wished for. They lost four wickets in the final 3 overs, with only 20 runs scored. Virat Kohli scored 50 of 43 balls and Ab De Villiers scored 39 of 36 balls. For CSK Sam Curran picks 3 wickets for 19 runs in his 3 overs.

Chennai Super Kings Chase was very good. Faf made sure it didn’t, going against his usual character of trying to anchor it out. Gaikwad turned up finally, justifying his over-par List A credentials, and looked confident for a change. He made sure the tempo set in the powerplay never fell, and RCB hardly made sure he didn’t and they easily won the game by 8 wickets. Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 65* runs 51 balls and Ambati Rayudu scored 39 in 27 balls. For RCB Morris and Chahal picks 1 wicket each.

RCB: 145/6 in 20 overs
CSK: 150/2 in 18.4 overs

Result: Chennai Super Kings won by 8 wickets
Man of the Match: Ruturaj Gaikwad

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Congratulations to CSK for their win after back to back loses. Their batting machinery has creaked and groaned throughout the season, but today they have done pretty well and chased down the target with good partnerships in top order. Their campaign was coming apart brick by brick so far, just a dramatic representation of the fall we’ve seen this season. Today game will sure boost their confidence and but they are out of the tournament and should play to get some respects and give chance to other players to keep focus for next season.

Royal Challengers batting was not up the mark today. A good partnership between AB and Kohli happened in middle overs but but the final florish never came and they scored only 20 runs in last 3 overs. Finch couldn’t get going once again and middle order batsmen unable to contribute at the end. Overall This team need to work on their batting in middle overs in further games. Although this loss will not impact on their chance for play-offs but need improvement in concerned areas.
