Dream11 IPL Match 33: AB De Villiers magical inning takes RCB inches closer to playoff as they beat RR by 7 wickets. Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.
33rd Game (Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs Rajasthan Royals)
Game Date: 17th Oct 2020
Details: Rajasthan Royals captain Steve Smith won the toss and elected to bat first in the 33rd game of IPL 2020. RR included Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and Steve Smith as four foreign players for this game. No change in playing XI.
Four foreign players of RCB for this game was AB De Villiers, Aaron Finch, Chris Morris and Isuru Udana. Two changes in playing XI and they have included Gurkeerat Singh Mann and debutant Shahbaz Ahmed in place of Mohammed Siraj and Shivam Dube.
Rajasthan Royals scores 177/6 in their 20 overs which is very good total on this ground. They have vindicated the skipper’s decision. The intent looked positive from ball one as Uthappa took on Sundar to hit him for 4 fours in an over. Stokes had another sombre affair and so did Buttler. But skipper Smith showed his class and struck a few lusty blows to hand RR the advantage after the first half of the inning. Steve Smith scored 57 of 36 balls and Robin Uthappa scored 41 of 22 balls. For RCB Chris Morris picks 4 wickets for 26 runs in his 4 overs.
Innings Break!
After opting to bat first, @rajasthanroyals post a total of 177/6 on the board.
Will #RCB chase this down?

Royal Challengers Bangalore chase was not good as they lose Finch in power play with slow run rate. A good steady partnership between Padikkal and Kohli gives some hope but once they good things got changed and at one time they need 35 runs in last 2 overs. And then we saw it again. The magic of AB de Villiers. It took him three balls to flip the game on its head, smashing a hat-trick of sixes off Unadkat who didn’t have answers to the greatness in front of him. Maybe Smith could’ve bowled Archer in that penultimate over. But it’s hard to say if it would’ve made a difference and RCB chased down the target by scoring 179/3 in 19.4 overs. AB de Villiers scored 55* runs 22 balls and Virat Kohli scored 43 in 32 balls. For RR Gopal, Tyagi and Tewatia picks 1 wicket each.

RCB: 179/3 in 19.4 overs
Result: Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 7 wickets
Man of the Match: AB De Villiers
Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Congratulations to RCB for their win after defeat against KXIP in last game. Today batting in first 18 overs was not as per chase and they needed 35 runs in last 2 overs but all thanks to AB de Villiers magical inning as he has done so many times and today he did it. Hats off to him he is just genius of this game. Their bowling was not good and given away plenty of runs. But Morris did it again with his outstanding spell and takes 4 wickets for just 26 runs. RCB need to focus on middle order batting as they have not performed good in this season. They are now inches closer to qualify for play-offs.
Rajasthan Royals top order batsmen plays today as well. They have vindicated the skipper’s decision and started off with positive intent. Sending Uthappa as openers works for them as he score quick runs for the team but middle order unable to contribute well except Smith. After that bowlers starts off well and they were able to restrict them till 18 over but here Smith did a big mistake and given Unadkat the penultimate over instead of Archer and he given away 25 runs. Not sure if Archer able to stop them but they have lost the game so everyone will point out this reason. Now play-offs is almost impossible for them as need to win all 5 next games for any chance and they team team is playing seems not possible at all.
