KXIP won by 8 wickets-Cricketmovie.com

Dream11 IPL Match 30: Gayle comeback changed the fortune of KXIP as they beat RCB by 8 wickets. Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.

31st Game (Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab)
Game Date: 15 Oct 2020
Details:
Royal Challengers Bangalore Skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first in the 31st game of IPL 2020. RCB included AB de Villiers, Chris Morris, Isuru Udana and Aaron Finch as four foreign players for this game. No change in playing XI

Four foreign players of KXIP for this game was Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Chris Jordan and Glenn Maxwell.. Three changes in their playing XI and they have included Chris Gayle, Murugan Ashwin and Deepak Hooda in place of Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Simran Singh and injured Mandeep Singh.

Royal Challengers Bangalore scores 171/6 in their 20 overs. RCB starts in power plays and last over works in their favor. Openers didn’t last long, the stage was set for a Kohli-AB partnership but that didn’t happen. Instead out walked Sundar then Dube and by the time AB arrived he had to go after each delivery. And the famed RCB duo were sent back in the same over leaving them in a spot of bother. But Morris made sure that they gain some respectability to the total with his power-striking. Interesting to see how costly that last over will be for KXIP. Virat Kohli scored 48 of 39 balls and Chris Morris scored 25* of 8 balls. For KXIP Ashwin and Shami picks 2 wickets each

Kings XI Punjab chase stars very competently and openers set the perfect foundation with yet another brisk start. Gayle walked in at three after Mayank wicket and struggled to get going initially but, he needed just one six to get going and after that he complete his half century. KXIP needed 11 runs from 3 overs and should have sealed the game but KXIP ensured that there was a dramatic end and they were 1 run in last ball but Pooran hold the nerves and hit the winning six. KL Rahul scored 61* runs 49 balls and Chris Gayle scored 53 in 45 balls. For RCB Chahal picks 1 wicket.

RCB: 171/6 in 20 overs
KXIP: 177/2 in 20 overs

Result: Kings XI Punjab won by 8 wickets
Man of the Match: KL Rahul

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : First of congratulations to KXIP for their win after consecutive losses. Today they played like kings and their fortune finally changed after the return of universal boss Gayle. They bowlers did exceptionally well except the last overs from Shami. Openers performed brilliantly and they were some heart wrenching moments in last overs but Pooran hit the winning the six in last ball. They need to play the same way in their next 6 games and need to win all in order to qualify in play-offs which is very tough but this team has potential and it will be interesting to see they perform in further games.

Royal Challengers Bangalore top order batsmen given good start today as well but lose them soon. Then team management done mistake and not send AB on 4th position instead of it they send him at 6th position when they had only 4 overs and he got out cheaply today. Morris cameo takes them to respective total else 160 was tough for them. Middle over batting is concern for RCB as they are slowest in terms of run rate in this season and they need to improve it. Bowlers did well but they need to accept that KXIP batsmen were in good touch today. Although no need to worry as they are good position to qualify for the play-offs.
