Dream11 IPL Match 28: RCB won by 82 runs against KKR. Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.
28th Game (Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs Kolkata Knight Riders)
Game Date: 12th Oct 2020
Details: Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first in the 28th game of IPL 2020. RCB included AB De Villiers, Aaron Finch, Chris Morris and Isuru Udana as four foreign players for this game. One change in their side and they have included Mohammed Siraj in place of Gurkeerat Singh Mann.
Four foreign players of KKR for this game was Tom Banton, Andre Russell, Eoin Morgan and Pat Cummins. One changes in KKR playing squad and today Tom Banton is playing in place of Sunil Narine.
Royal Challengers Bangalore scores 194/2 in their 20 overs. At one time they were 111/2 in 15 overs but have managed to turn it around in the final 5 overs of the innings and all thanks to their one and only Mr.360. With the support of Kohli he manage to score to 83 runs off the last five overs. This isn’t a typical Sharjah pitch and the ball seems to be keeping low and gripping quite a bit so it is very good total. AB De Villiers scored 73* of 33 balls and Aaron Finch scored 47 of 37 balls. For KKR Russell and Prasidh picks 1 wicket each.

Kolkata Knight Riders chase was very poor as they keep lose wickets with slow run rate and no any big partnerships. The squeeze from RCB was so intense that KKR were staring at a rate of over 13 with 10 overs to go, which then led to a flurry of wickets as the new batsmen didn’t have time to settle in and they restrict them to only 112/9 in their 20 overs and won the game by 82 runs. Shubman Gill scored 34 runs 25 balls and Andre Russell scored 16 in 10 balls. For RCB Chris Morris and Washington Sundar picks 2 wickets each.

RCB: 194/2 in 20 overs
KKR: 112/9 in 20 overs
Result: Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 82 runs
Man of the Match: AB De Villiers
Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Congratulations to RCB for their consecutive wins in this season. Today batting in first 15 overs was very slow but last 4 overs went outstanding for RCB and all thanks to AB de Villiers and after that their bowlers did exceptionally well to restrict them and special shoot out to spinners for his incredible bowling performance in small ground of Sharjah. Morris have been a wonderful addition in the team. RCB looks stronger in bowling, brilliant fielder and not to forget he can hit it big lower down in batting order. They need to keep going same way and all set to qualify for the play-offs.
For KKR no any big partnership and wickets in regular interval cost the game. They were chasing a good total so they should have score on good run rate but unable to do. I think there were some bad decision in batting order and they should go with Tripathi instead of Banton in opening and they should send Russell in top order if chasing big total. Bowlers given away plenty of runs in death overs. Still they have good chance to enter in top 4 just they need to ensure not to repeat same mistakes.
Stats
– Virat Kohli‘s form has progressively gotten better against KKR. His last six innings against them read 0, 5, 31, 68*, 84 and 100
– Chris Morris has IPL success against two of KKR’s finishers – Karthik & Russell. He has dismissed both of them thrice.
– Pat Cummins will eye the Finch scalp at the start of the innings. Cummins has bowled 27 balls to his compatriot this season, giving away just 18 runs.
