Dream11 IPL Match 27: MI clinical win against DC by 5 wickets takes them to no.1 position. Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.
27th Game (Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals)
Game Date: 11 Oct 2020
Details: Delhi Capitals Skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bat first in the 27th game of IPL 2020. RR included Alex Carey, Marcus Stoinis, Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortjé as four foreign players for this game.
Two change in DC team and they included Alex Carey and Ajinkya Rahane in place of injured Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetymer. Ben Stokes will return from next game which is good news for team.
Four foreign players of MI for this game was Kieron Pollard, James Pattinson, Trent Boult and Quinton de Kock. No changes in MI playing XI.
Delhi Capitals scores 162/4 in their 20 overs. Delhi’s innings was much like Dhawan‘s as it seemed to go in one gear. They just couldn’t hit that top gear even towards the end. Iyer joined Dhawan after losing the couple of wickets and the pair added 85 runs for the third wicket. The platform was laid and Stoinis also came out with intent but his run out in the 17th over did not help Delhi. Only 35 runs came in the last four overs thanks to some superb execution from MI bowlers. Shikhar Dhawan scored 69* of 52 balls and Shreyas Iyer scored 42 of 33 balls. For MI Krunal Pandaya picks 2 wickets for 26 runs in his 4 overs quota.
Innings Break!
69* from Dhawan and a well made 42 by Shreyas Iyer propel #DelhiCapitals to a total of 162/4 on the board.#MumbaiIndians need 163 runs to win. Who are you rooting for?

Mumbai Indians lose their captain early in the game but decent partnership between De cock and Suryakumar and their swift fifties to put Mumbai right on track, but a flurry of wickets in death overs particularly those of set batsmen caused a hint of panic. However, Pollard managed to keep things calm, took it deep into the final over, but it was Krunal Pandya, who struck the two final blows to the blunt nail in the Capitals’ coffin tonight. Quinton de Kock scored 53 runs 36 balls and Suryakumar Yadav scored 53 in 32 balls. For DC Kagiso Rabada picks 2 wickets for 28 runs in his 4 overs.
Here it is! @mipaltan win by 5 wickets and register their 5th win in #Dream11IPL 2020.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : First of congratulations to MI for their consecutive wins and become top in the points table. Team is showing a complete team effort should be in bowling or batting. Today top and middle order batsmen to score runs and chase down the target successfully. But again it’s MI bowlers who’ll take credit tonight for this one as they given away just 35 runs in death overs. They need to perform the same way to defend the title this season.
Delhi Capitals played well after losing 2 quick wickets and they were set for 180+ runs but in death overs they unable to score runs and missed Rishabh Pant in death overs who injured in the last game and Shimron Hetymer had to seat because DC have no any other wicket-keeper in the team. Also few misfields and dropped catches cost the game for them. Still they are playing well and all set to qualify for the play offs just they need to maintain the momentum.
