Details: Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner won the toss and elected to bat first in the 122nd game of IPL 2020. SRH included David Warner, Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan and Jonny Bairstow as four foreign players for this game. One change in the playing XI. They have included Khaleel Ahmed in place of Siddarth Kaul.
Four foreign players of KXIP for this game was Mujeeb ur Rahman, Glenn Maxwell, Nicholas Pooran and Sheldon Cottrell. Three changes in KXIP playing squad and today Mujeeb ur Rahman, Simran Singh and Arshdeep Singh is playing in place of Chris Jordan, Sarfaraz Khan and Harpreet Brar.

Kings XI Punjab started on slow rate and lose wickets but Pooran played magnificently and at one time they were on for the chase at 96/3. But, Maxwell’s run-out courtesy Garg‘s direct hit changed the whole complexion of the match. They kept losing wickets and capitulated meekly and were all out for 132 runs in 16.5 overs and lose the game by 69 runs. Nicholas Pooran scored 77 runs 37 balls and Simran Singh scored 11 in 8 balls. For SRH Rashid Khan picks 3 wickets for 12 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Congratulations to SRH for their win after a loss against MI. Middle order batting and bowling is still a concern for team but senior players and good support from bowlers help them for a greatest win. So they need to perform as a team in order to quality for the play offs.
For KXIP bowling is still the biggest concern and today at the end Ravi Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh did some exceptional job in death overs but plenty of runs given by main bowlers is still a big concern. Coach Anil Kumble really need to work hard on bowling unit as KXIP is losing their games because of their bowlers except today. They need to find the best bowling combination and now they have tough road ahead and need to win 7 games out 8 in order to qualify for the play offs which is almost impossible. I think they can include Hardus Viljoen in playing XI in place of Sheldon Cottrell for the next game.
