DC qualify for the final-cricketmovie.com

Dream11 IPL 2020 3rd Qualifier: DC will play first ever final in IPL against MI on Sunday. Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.

3rd Qualifier Game (Sunrisers Hyderabad Vs Delhi Capitals)
Game Date: 8th Nov 2020
Details:
Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bat first in the 3rd qualifier game of IPL 2020. Four foreign players of RCB for this game was Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer, Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje. Two changes in the team as they have included Praveen Dubey and Shimron Hetmyer in place of Prithivi Shaw and Daniel Sams.

SRH included David Warner, Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan and Jason Holder as four foreign players for this game. No changes in playing XI.

Delhi Capitals scores 189/3 in their 20 overs which is very good score on this ground yet no boundaries in the last two overs. They opened with Stoinis along with Dhawan. SRH actually responded solidly with a brilliant field to him and almost had him at silly mid-on. But Stoinis unleashed his power and Dhawan joined the party. Dhawan took over the baton and completed the fifty, but he wasn’t finding the fence enough at which point Hetmyer came in and played some lovely shots. Shikhar Dhawan scored 78 of 50 balls and Shimron Hetmyer scored 42* of 22 balls. For SRH Holder, Sharma and Khan picks 1 wicket each.

Sunrisers Hyderabad unable to chase the target and knock out from this season with this defeat. Their chase was not good as lose their skipper in 2nd over of the game. Williamson and Samad ran them close, but DC have done just enough on the night and due to quick wickets in power play and no any support at the end cost the game for SRH. So for the second year in a row, the DC knock out the Orange Army in the playoffs. Kane Williamson scored 67 runs 45 balls and Abdul Samad scored 33 in 16 balls. For DC Kagiso Rabada picks 4 wickets for 29 runs in his 4 overs.

DC: 189/3 in 20 overs
SRH: 172/8 in 20 overs

Result: Delhi Capitals won by 17 runs
Man of the Match: Marcus Stoinis

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Congratulations to DC to qualify for the finals for the first time. It’s amazing what a little tweak in the batting order can do. After a miserable run of late (five losses in previous six matches), Delhi needed to do something. What they did was push Stoinis up the order to open the innings, a brave experiment in a do or die game. Stoinis delivered. He set them up for a good score, and then he produced magic with the ball as well. It wasn’t a great spell of unplayable bowling, but he got wickets and big ones at that. For the second year in a row, the DC knock out the Orange Army in the playoffs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is out of the tournament after today’s defeat. Today their fielding and bowling was not good and as per my view they have missed Bhuvi and Saha in today’s game. Still a good fight and they must be satisfy the way they have finished this season after having so many injuries to their key players. Catch drop by Holder of Stoinis in the start of DC innings and Warner wicket in 2nd over in the game was the turning point of the game.
