3. Screenplay
4. Direction
5. Story lacks novelty

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch this movie on digital premiere because of Arjun Rampal and always loved action movies.

Special Agent Agni is tasked to find information and eventually, eliminate Rudraveer, an international human trafficker and a coal mafioso. Things turn personal when Agni discovers a truth that connects her to Rudraveer.

Dhaakad story lacks novelty and replete with clichés. There is not even a hint of freshness or newness in the story which abounds in action. Screenplay is not any better than the extremely weak story. The drama unfolds in the most predictable fashion, leaving the viewers as mere spectators who couldn’t care less about what’s in store for them. Rather than feeling involved in the drama, the audiences watch it unfold with scant interest. There is so much action and gruesome violence in the film that the viewers get the feeling that the lengthy action scenes are because there is nothing else to show.

Direction is also very dull. His narration is so weak that it fails to involve the audiences or even give them a sense of feeling for the characters. In the technical department, action choreography and camerawork gets the maximum share of credits. The twist in the tale in the climax is unexpected but viewers never find out the reason behind it. In fact, it’s shocking that something of this sort even got approved. Despite some great names in the credits all along, the eventual result of the film leaves you feeling disappointed. Although, movie is about two hours and 10 minutes long, the run feels way longer

Overall, movie has hardly any entertainment value. Its very desi title hardly goes with the ultra-modern outfits and hairstyles of the lead protagonist whom the title describes. It has all style and no substance and fails to deliver. My view on this movie Not Recommended.
