In this post, I am sharing the Confirmed list of Web-series and Movies releasing in November 2020 on OTT. As we know due to ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic cinema halls is running 50% capacity as per MHA so only few movies are releasing in theatres directly. But still audiences not are showing any excitement to release the movie in theatres so it seems still wee multiple movies releasing on digital platform instead of big screens.
For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema halls after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms and interesting facts is that many films and Web-series are even clashing on OTT.
Here I am sharing entire list of movies and web-series releasing this month:
1. Khaali Peeli (Movie)
Release date: 6th Nov (Zee5 Premium)
Cast: Ananya Panday, Ishaan Khatter and Jaideep Ahlawat
Director: Maqbool Khan
Details: After releasing the movie on Zee Plex and big screen this movie is now releasing on Zee5 Premium. The story is about two childhood sweethearts Pooja and Blackie who gets separated due to certain circumstances when they were kids. Pooja, who is now a prostitute, decides to escape the brothel on turning 18, with a bag full of stolen money. She bumps into Blackie who is now a very “chalu” Bombay taxi driver. He agrees to “drive” her to freedom, in exchange for a hefty amount. This leads to a series of chase and escape – with the goons on Pooja’s trail and the cops on the goons’ trail.
2. Laxmii
Release date: 9th Oct (Disney Plus Hotstar VIP)
Cast: Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharad Kelkar and Ayesha Raza Mishra
Director: Raghava Lawrence
Details: It is remake of the 2011 Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana. The film revolves around Akshay, who is scared to venture outside gets possessed by a ghost and starts behaving weirdly. It was earlier scheduled to released on Eid 2020 but due to lockdown it’s scheduled to release on OTT platform. It is one of the most anticipated movie of the year and Akshay Kumar is playing a role of transgender. Earlier it’s titled was Laxmmi Bomb but it changed to Laxmii due to backlash.
3. Aashram Chapter 2: The Dark Side (Web Series)
Release date: 11 Nov 2020 (MX Player)
Cast: Bobby Deol, Aaditi Pohankar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Darshan Kumaar, Anupria Goenka, Adhyayan Summan, Tridha Choudhury, Vikram Kochhar, Tushar Pandey, Sachin Shroff

Details: It is sequel of Aashram which was released few months ago. It revolves around the story of a spiritual leader named Baba Nirala (Bobby Deol) of Kashipur, his cult, and his transformation from a Godman to a conman. As the true face of Kashipur waale Baba Nirala unfurls, various hidden dark secrets of Aashram are discovered by the Sub-Inspector Ujagar Singh and Constable Sadhu. On the other hand, by roping in a famous pop-star Tinka Singh, Baba rises as the icon of the youth. With this rising popularity and fame, Baba becomes the center of attraction for both political candidates who are contesting for the upcoming state elections. Pammi, who has turned into a blind devotee of Baba, continues to flourish inside the Aashram. How far will her blind faith for Baba sustain? After all, behind his holy image of a messiah, lies the true monster, who exploits young girls. Will Pammi’s fate be any different from all the other girls who fell victim to this deep nexus?

Ludo is about four different stories tied together by unavoidable circumstances and coincidences far beyond our understanding, all of which make up for a crazy caper of a film.
5. Mum Bhai (Web Series)
Release date: 12th Nov (ALT Balaji and Zee5 Premium)
Cast: Angad Bedi, Sikandar Kher, Priyank Sharma, Sandeepa Dhar, Karamveer Choudhary and Sunny Hinduja
Director: Apoorva Lakhia and Baljit Singh Chaddha
Details: Jab saamne power, paisa aur Mumbai ko rule karne ka mauka ho, toh iss picture ka hero kaun nahi banna chahega! Iss game ke rules the bade simple, jiski goli mein dum vo power mein aa gaya. Bhaskar ke 83 encounters ya Rama ka bhaigiri wala tashan. Kaun jeetne wala tha MumBhai ka title.
6. Chhalaang (Movie)
Release date: 13th Nov 2020 (Amazon Prime Video)
Cast: Rajkummar Rao, Nushrat Barucha, Saurabh Shukla and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub

Details: Chhalaang is a hilarious, yet inspirational journey of a PT Master from a semi government funded school in Northern India. Montu (Rajkummar Rao) is a typical PT Master for whom it’s just a job. When circumstances put everything that Montu cares for at stake, including Neelu (Nushrratt Bharuccha) who he loves, Montu is forced to do what he has never done – Teach. Through Montu’s journey, Chhalaang humorously addresses the value of Sports Education in school curriculum.
7. Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari (Movie)
Release date: 13th Nov 2020
Cast: Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Annu Kapoor, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Pahwa, Neeraj Sood, Neha Pendse, Karishma Tannn and Abhishek Banerjee
Director: Abhishek Sharma
Details: Set in the 1990s, the film is a social satire. Madhu Mangal Rane (Manoj Bajpayee) is playing a wedding detective, who does a background check of grooms. In 90’s it was a norm as there were no mobile phone or social media and people had to deal with everything physically. This gives rise to comical situations.
8. Bicchoo Ka Khel (Web Series)
Release date: 18th Nov (ALT Balaji and Zee5 Premium)
Cast: Divyendu Sharma,Anshul Chauhan, Akanksha Thakur, Trisshna Mukherjii and Gagan Anand
Director: Ashish Shukla
Details: It is a crime thriller web series about Akhil, a budding writer who loses his father to a cover-up. He later manipulates the law to get away with murder but doesn’t anticipate that things won’t go according to plan. Sunn liye ho na, yeh “Bachenge nahi, system inhe khud bachayega” Par yeh aise kaise hoga? Aur hoga toh bohot bada bawaal hoga
9. Raat Baaki Hai (Movie)
Release date: 20th Nov (Zee5 Premium)
Cast: Paoli Dam, Rahul Dev, Dipannita Sharma and Anup Soni

Details: It is based on Atul Satya popular play “Ballygunge-1990” set in Rajasthan and story revolves around one night where 2 estranged lovers end up meeting after 12 years under strange circumstances.
10. Dark 7 White (Web Series)
Release date: 24th Nov (ALT Balaji and Zee5 Premium)
Cast: Sumeet Vyas, Nidhi Singh, Jatin Sarna, Monica Chaudhary, Taniya Kalra, Kunj Anand and Rachit Bahal
Director: Sattwik Mohanty
Details: The thriller show will follow the story of Chief Minister Yudi, who gets killed in an accident. Soon the investigation of the Chief Minister’s death leads to his college friends and the dark secrets they share.
11. Naxalbari (Web Series)
Release date: 28th Nov (Zee5 Premium)
Cast: Rajeev Khandelwal, Tinaa Dattaa, Aamir Ali Malik, Sreejita De and Satyadeep Mishra
Director: Vivek Agnihotri
Details: The story revolves around an STF agent who goes on a secret mission to uncover the truth behind a naxal uprising.
Durgesh Tiwary’s View : In my view Chhalaang, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari and Ludo are the movies to watch out for in this month as they seems amazing and I am really excited for them.
In web series I will prefer Ashram Chapter 2 and Naxalbari. Naxalbari is based on real incident and I don’t think I need for provide any reason for season 2 of Aashram chapter 2.
