In this post, I am sharing the updated Confirmed list of Movies and Web-Series releasing in July 2024 on OTT and Cinemas. After a low number of releases in the last month we have a good number of releases in this month. As this new month is bringing a slew of new shows and series that you simply cannot afford to miss. The release dates may vary because this information is solely based on the announcements made by the producers/production companies.
There are still few movies are premiering on digital platform instead of cinemas to avoid clashes. For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema hall after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms. It will double bonanza for audiences as they can watch the films on OTT as well as cinemas of their choice.
Here I am sharing entire list of movies and web-series releasing this month on OTT and Theatres:
1. Kill (Movie)
Release Date: 5th July 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Raghav Juyal, Lakshya, Tanya Maniktala, Harsh Chhaya, Ashish Vidyarthi, Abhishek Chauhan, and Parth Tiwari
Director: Nikhil Nagesh Bhat
Details: When army commando Amrit finds out his true love Tulika is engaged against her will, he boards a New Delhi-bound train in a daring quest to derail the arranged marriage. But when a gang of knife-wielding thieves led by the ruthless Fani begin to terrorize innocent passengers on his train, Amrit takes them on himself in a death-defying kill-spree to save those around him turning what should have been a typical commute into an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride.
2. Mirzapur Season 3 (Web-Series)
Release Date: 5th July 2024 on Prime Video

Details: With the Tripathi rule now having come to an end, Mirzapur is thrown into turmoil as the new young ruler grapples with the complexity of being King.
3. Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha (Movie)
Release Date: 5th July 2024 in Cinema
Cast: Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Jimmy Shergill, Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar
Director: Neeraj Pandey
Details: The film story follows a couple whose love story spans 23 years from 2000 to 2023, delving into the emotional depth and evolving dynamics of their relationship over two decades. Krishna gets involved in multiple murders and is sentenced to life imprisonment. This leads to Vasudha getting separated from him and marrying Abhijeet. After 22 years when Krishna is released from prison after getting pardon, he yearns to meet Vasudha. It culminates in one final meeting between Krishna and Vasudha.
4. Commander Karan Saxena (Web-Series)
Release Date: 8th July 2024 On Hotstar
Cast: Gurmeet Choudhary, Iqbal Khan and Hruta Durgule
Director: Jatin Wagle
Details: A RAW agent Commander Karan Saxena who has to unravel a high-stakes mystery which includes a political angle and will show betrayal.
5. Wild Wild Punjab (Movie)
Release date: 10th July 2024 on Netflix
Cast: Varun Sharma, Sunny Singh, Manjot Singh and Jassie Gill
Director: Simarpreet Singh
Details: A man has a breakup. He’s upset, but he has friends who encourage him to face this breakup head-on and move on. They embark on a trip across Punjab to help Khanne find the closure he desires.
6. Sarfira (Movie)
Release Date: 12th July 2024 in Cinema
Cast: Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Seema Biswas, Suriya and Radhika Madan
Director: Sudha Kongara
Details: It is remake of Kongara’s Tamil film Soorarai Pottru (2020) which itself is an adaptation of G. R. Gopinath’s memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey. It follows a man who sets out to make affordable airlines for low-income people which several enemies try to impede.
7. Pill (Web-Series)
Release Date: 12th July 2024 on Jio Cinema
Cast: Riteish Deshmukh, Pawan Malhotra, Akshat Chauhan and Anshul Chauhan
Director: Raj Kumar Gupta
Details: It unravels deep-set rot in the Indian pharmaceutical industry Dr Prakash along with three whistle-blowers face a powerful pharma giant forever cure to expose the corrupt nexus of pharma, middlemen and doctors through which a pill reaches to the common man. Will the good able to overcome the evil?
8. Hindustani 2 (Movie)
Release Date: 12th July 2024 in Cinema
Cast: Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, S. J. Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani and Nedumudi Venu

Details: Senapathy, a freedom fighter turned vigilante who fought against corruption in India, returns from Hong Kong to aid Chitra Varadharajan, who has been exposing corrupt politicians in the country through videos on the internet
9. Kakuda (Movie)
Release Date: 12th July 2024 on Zee5
Cast: Riteish Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha, Aasif Khan and Saqib Saleem
Director: Aditya Sarpotdar
Details: This horror-comedy film follows a town trapped in time by a curse and 3 of its inhabitants face a ghost that makes them question superstition, tradition and love.
10. Showtime (Web-Series)

Details: Series delves into the world of Bollywood, production houses and how they function. Features the power struggles and off-camera fights occurring in the backstage areas of Bollywood.
11. Bad Newz (Movie)
Release Date: 19th July 2024 in cinema
Cast: Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, Neha Dhupia and Ammy Virk
Director: Anand Tiwari
Details: Saloni gets pregnant after having one-night stands with two different men Akhil and Gurbir. A doctor informs her that it is a rare case of heteropaternal superfecundation in which two different eggs are fertilized in the ovary of a woman with sperm from two different men. This leads to comic one-upmanship between the two men to woo her.
12. Deadpool & Wolverine (Movie)
Release Date: 26th July 2024 in cinema
Cast: Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen
Director: Shawn Levy
Details: In the film, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) pulls Deadpool from his quiet life and sets him on a mission with Wolverine that will change the history of the MCU.
13. Raayan (Movie)
Release Date: 26th July 2024 in cinema
Cast: Dhanush, S. J. Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Aranthangi Nisha.
Director: Dhanush
Details: Raayan trains himself and goes in search of the killers to avenge the death of his family, where his quest of finding the killers leads him through the criminal underworld. Trailer of this film is not out yet.
Durgesh Tiwary’s View: In my view Kill, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and Hindustani 2 are the movie to watch in the 1st half. In web-series I am looking forward for Mirzapur 3 and Pill. What’s your top picks among all movies and web series. You can share your view in comment section.
