In this post, I am sharing the updated Confirmed list of Movies and Web-Series releasing in January 2024 on OTT and Cinemas. After a good number of releases in the last month we have a smaller number of releases in this month but if we include south Indian movies the count is high. This new month is bringing a slew of new shows and series that you simply cannot afford to miss. The release dates may vary because this information is solely based on the announcements made by the producers/production companies.
After Shahrukh Khan recent movie Dunki underperformed so all eyes on Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter. It has very good curiosity among audience especially. There are still few movies are premiering on digital platform instead of cinemas to avoid clashes. For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema hall after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms. It will double bonanza for audiences as they can watch the films on OTT as well as cinemas of their choice.
Here I am sharing entire list of movies and web-series releasing this month on OTT and Theatres:
1. Hi Nanna (Movie)
Release Date: 7th December 2023 in Cinemas & 4th January 2023 premiere on Netflix
Cast: Nani, Mrunal Thakur, Baby Kiara, Angad Bedi and Shruti Haasan

Details: A doting father and his six-year-old`s lives alter when a woman befriends them and empathizes with their past.
2. Tejas (Movie)
Release Date: 27th October 2023 in cinemas & 5th January 2023 premiere on Zee5
Cast: Kangana Ranaut, Anshul Chauhan and Varun Mitra
Director: Sarvesh Mevara
Details: Indian Air Force pilot Tejas Gill is on a mission to rescue an Indian spy who has some very confidential information while also battling with her tragic past of haunted memories.
3. Killer Soup (Web-Series)
Release Date: 11th January 2024 on Netflix
Cast: Manoj Bajpayee, Konkona Sen Sharma, Nassar and Sayaji Shinde
Director: Abhishek Chaubey
Details: The series is about an aspiring yet talentless home chef who conspires to replace her husband Prabhakar with her lover Umesh.
4. Hanuman (Movie)
Release date: 12th January 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Vinay Rai

Details: The fictional story revolves around Hanumanthu who gets the powers of Hanuman in a distant village and fights for Anjanadri. It is the first installment of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe followed by Adhira.
5. Captain Miller (Movie)
Release Date: 12th January 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Dhanush, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken and Edward Sonnenblick
Director: Arun Matheswaran
Details: A renegade Captain and his unconventional outlaws execute daring heists in the 1930s and 1940s. Miller must decide whether to continue running or confront the challenges head-on.
6. Merry Christmas (Movie)
Release Date: 12th January 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Katrina Kaif, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, Tinnu Anand, Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar
Director: Sriram Raghavan
Details: Two strangers meet on a fateful Christmas Eve. A night of delirious romance turns into a nightmare. Revealing anything more would be a crime.
7. Guntur Kaaram (Movie)
Release Date: 12th January 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam.
Director: Trivikram Srinivas
Details: Follows Guntur Karam, the king of the underworld of Guntur city, as he falls in love with a journalist working to expose the illegal activities in the city.
8. Saindhav (Movie)
Release Date: 13th January 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Venkatesh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Arya, Andrea Jeremiah, Shraddha Srinath, Baby Sara and Ruhani Sharma
Director: Dr. Sailesh Kolanu
Details: Saindhav Koneru alias “SaiKO” is a person with a dark past, leading a quaint family life with his wife Manogya and daughter, Gayathri. However, SaiKO’s life takes a drastic turn when Gayathri is diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy and requires Zolgensma injection which costs ₹17 crores. He goes back to the world of crime in order to extract money for Gayathri’s operation and soon begins an intense battle against his past rivals, which includes a ruthless gangster Vikas Malik.
9. Naa Saami Ranga (Movie)
Release Date: 14th January 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Nagarjuna Akkineni, Allari Naresh, Raj Tarun, Ashika Ranganath, Mirnaa Menon and Rukshar Dhillon
Director: Vijay Binni
Details: The film is an official remake of the 2019 Malayalam language film Porinju Mariam Jose and the story of the film is loosely based on real events that occurred during the 1980s and 1990s in Thrissur.
10. Devil (Movie)
Release Date: 29th December 2023 in cinemas & 15th January 2024 on Prime
Cast: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Samyuktha Menon and Elnaaz Norouzi

15. Karmma Calling (Web-Series)

Cast: Raveena Tandon, Varun Sood, Vikramjeet Virk, Gaurav Sharma, Viraf Patel, Amy Aela and Waluscha De Sousa
Director: Ruchi Narain
Details: It is based on the popular American series ‘Revege’ (2011) which revolves Indrani Kothari who was glamourous queen of the 90s and now a reigning queen of Alibaug and is married to a billionaire. However, there is a twist when Karma Talwar comes into the picture and questions the former’s authority over everything close and dear to her.
