In this post, I am sharing the updated Confirmed list of Movies and Web-Series releasing in December 2023 on OTT and Cinemas. After a good number of releases in the last month we have a smaller number of releases in this month as of now. This new month is bringing a slew of new shows and series that you simply cannot afford to miss. The release dates may vary because this information is solely based on the announcements made by the producers/production companies.
After Salman Khan recent movie Tiger 3 underperformed so all eyes on this month and its start with Animal & Sam Bahadur. It has very good curiosity among audience especially. There are still few movies are premiering on digital platform instead of cinemas to avoid clashes. For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema hall after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms. It will double bonanza for audiences as they can watch the films on OTT as well as cinemas of their choice.
Here I am sharing entire list of movies and web-series releasing this month on OTT and Theatres:
1. Animal (Movie)
Release Date: 1st December 2023 in cinemas
Cast: Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri
Director: Sandeep Reddy Vanga
Details: It revolves around the complex relationship of a business magnate Balbir Singh and his son Arjun Singh. After tragedy befalls Balbir, Arjun sets out to exact vengeance against his rival Viraj Surve and pledges to never leave his family, leading to a gruesome gang war.
2. Sam Bahadur (Movie)
Release Date: 1st December 2023 in cinemas
Cast: Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub
Director: Meghna Gulzar
Details: Set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw led the Indian Army from the front leading to Bangladesh’s liberation.
3. Dhootha (Web-Series)
Release Date: 1st December 2023 on Prime Video
Cast: Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Prachi Desai, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Sathyapriya Bhavani Shankar

4. Hi Papa (Movie)

Details: The lives of a doting father and his six-year-old take a drastic turn when the woman he loves marries someone else.
5. Joram (Movie)
Release date: 8th December 2023 in Cinemas
Cast: Manoj Bajpayee, Tannishtha Chatterjee, and Smita Tambe

Details: AK Shrivastav is a quirky patient in a hospital with retrograde amnesia, is being narrated various versions of his life. As he tries to separate fact from fiction, he also finds out the reason behind his condition.
7. The FreeLancer 2 (Web-Series)
Release Date: 15th December 2023 on Hotstar
Cast: Mohit Raina, Anupam Kher, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Manjari Fadnis and Kashmira Pardeshi
Director: Neeraj Pandey
Details: The series is set in an hostile climate set apart by misdirection and treachery. It revolves around Aliya’s journey as she endeavors to escape from challenging conditions. In this new season will see how Avinash recue Alia from Syeria.
8. Dunki (Movie)
Release Date: 21st December 2023 in Cinemas
Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Boman Irani.
Director: Rajkumar Hirani
Details: Based on the concept of “Donkey Flight”, an unlawful backdoor entry technique for nations like United Kingdom, Canada and the United States, Dunki depicts the lives of Indians who choose to enter the nation using this illegal process and struggle to return home.
9. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Movie)
Release Date: 21st December 2023 in Cinemas
Cast: Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Nicole Kidman.
Director: James Wan
Details: Several years after the events of the first film, Arthur Curry / Aquaman is forced to protect Atlantis and his loved ones from devastation after an ancient power is unleashed by David Kane / Black Manta obtaining the cursed Black Trident. 11. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (Movie)
Release Date: 26th December 2023 on Netflix
Cast: Adarsh Gourav, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Rohan Gurbaxani
Director: Arjun Varain Singh
Details: It follows the lives of three best friends Imaad, Ahana and Neil who manage their goals, relationships, and emotions together Teaser/Trailer of this film is not out yet.
NOTE: These are confirmed list of releases till 31st November 2023. There are few movies/series in pipeline and once their release date will be confirmed will add them in this list.
