In this post, I am sharing the Confirmed list of Movies and Web-Series releasing in December 2022 on OTT and Cinemas. After a miximum release in the last month, we have good number of releases in both cinemas in this month as well. There are multiple small budget movies are releasing and clashing on the box office in the 1st and 2nd week. Bollywood gets his hope from Ajay Devgn latest release Drishyam 2 which is doing excellent business on ticket window.
This month we have Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus and Hollywood biggie Avatar 2. Both movies have created good hype among audience and Box-office has very high hopes from these movies. For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema hall after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms. It will double bonanza for audiences as they can watch the films on OTT as well as cinemas of their choice.
Here I am sharing entire list of movies and web-series releasing this month on OTT and Theatres:
1. Qala (Movie)
Release Date: 1st December 2022 on Netflix
Cast: Tripti Dimri, Babil Khan, Amit Sial, Varun Grover and Swastika Mukherjee
Director: Anvitaa Dutt
Details: Set in 1940s Kolkata, Qala chronicles the complicated relationship between a young singer and her mother. Will all her sacrifices be worth the success she gets?
2. Freddy (Movie)
Release Date: 2nd December 2022 on Disney Plus Hotstar
Cast: Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F
Director: Shashanka Ghosh
Details: The lines between love and obsession blur in this romantic thriller packed with unpredictable twists and sharp turns. It revolves around the journey of Dr. Freddy Ginwala and his obsession for Kainaaz.
3. Goodbye (Movie)
Release Date: 7th October 2022 in Cinemas & Digital premiere from 2nd December 2022 on Netflix
Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sunil Grover, Elli AvrRam, Sahil Mehta and Shivin Narang

Details: A heartwarming story of the Bhalla family that depicts their journey of grief and self-discovery after they suffer the loss of their loved one.
4. India Lockdown (Movie)
Release Date: 2nd December 2022 on Zee5 Premium
Cast: Shweta Basu Prasad, Prateek Babbar, Ahana Kumra, Sai Tamankar and Prakash Belawadi
Director: Madhur Bhandarkar
Details: Inspired by true events, movie depicts four parallel stories and the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic on the people of India.
5. Vadhandhi (Web-Series)
Release date: 2nd December 2022 on Prime Video
Cast: S.J. Suryah, Sanjana, Laila, Nasser, Vivek Prasanna, Hareesh Peradi, Smruthi Venkat and Kumaran Thangarajan
Director: Andrew Louis
Details: Vivek, a diligent cop, takes charge of the investigation of the murder of a beautiful young girl, Velonie. 6. An Action Hero (Movie)

7. CAT (Web-Series)

Details: It is a crime thriller set against the backdrop of the Punjab hinterlands. He is thrown into a deep, drug trafficking conspiracy between gang lords, cops, and political powers.
8. Faadu (Web-Series)

Cast: Pavail Gulati, Saiyami Kher and Abhilash Thapliyal

Cast: Sanjay Mishra, Neena Gupta, Saurabh Sachdeva and Manav Vij
Director: Jaspal Singh Sandhu & Rajeev Barnwal
Details: Shambhunath Mishra, a retired middle school teacher is living a mundane middle-class life with his wife Manju Mishra in Gwalior. Life takes a complete turn for the Mishra family when a situation gets out of hand and it leads to a killing at the hands of Shambhunath Mishra. Mishra ji has very little time to plan cautiously to turn this into a “perfect murder” and leave no trace behind.

Details: Movie is official Hindi remake of Spanish psychological thriller film “Julia’s Eyes” which tells the story of a woman who’s slowly losing her sight whilst trying to investigate the death of her twin sisters.
14. Govind Naam Mera (Movie)
Release Date: 16th December 2022 on Disney Plus Hotstar
Cast: Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani

Details: The very charming Govinda Waghmare juggles his time and love between his wife Mrs. Waghmare and his girlfriend in this dose of chaos, confusion, and laughter.
15. Avatar 2 (Movie)

Details: A couple with opposing choices when it comes to children, but destiny has something else planned for the childhood sweethearts.
