College Romance season 3 Web Series Rating: 2.5 Stars

Just watched College Romance season 3 web series on Sony LIV. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this web series.

Story: This season picks up from where the previous one had left off, Naira (Apoorva Arora) and Bagga (Gagan Arora) are struggling with their long-distance relationship since she moved to the US for studies.

Karan (Keshav Sadhna) and his college junior Dhatrpriya aka DP (Nupur Nagpal) are exploring their love for each other while Deepika (Shreya Mehta) is still unsure what she wants following her breakups but she maintains the same bitchy demeanor wherever she goes.

We have a new entrant Hary (Eklavey Kashyap) who enters into the established world of Bagga and friends. He become roommates of them and started seeing Deepika. Meanwhile Karan has doubt that there are chances that Bagga might cheat on Naira with another girl Raavi (Jahnvi Rawat). Who is Raavi and what is her relation with Bagga. What is the central issue among them this time and did they get it resolved is all about this season.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer planned to watch this series on premiere day because loved the previous two seasons and big fan of TVF shows.

This third season of the teen drama series like its predecessors, dives into the difficulties that college students face when it comes to sustaining their relationships and friendships.

For the first time I feel TVF creation lacks the impact that they have and this narrative unable to keep you interested in the struggles of these young adults from bro-code to clashes between senior and junior college students. It feels laboured, jaded and exhaustive quickly. The fun is missing and the drama is boring. Similar to prior seasons, there is excessive use of cuss words. Some of it is reasonable because it is common lingo among teenagers, but some of it could have been avoided easily. Some situations are illogical, such as Naira returning to the same college. How did she acquire the admission so quickly? The tone of the story remains essentially consistent, but I miss the show’s heart Trippy who is not part of this installment and hoping that he will be part of next season.

There are positives as well. The story is a direct continuation of events from the end of season two. The performances are consistently refined, restrained and understated making the series enjoyable without going over the top. Like its previous season length is also short and climax leave you cliffhanger for the next season. Overall, The freshness that instantly connected with the youth in the opening and second seasons is missing here. It isn’t apparent immediately but becomes more evident as things proceed. My view on this series Time Pass only if you have liked the previous seasons give it a try to continue the travel with the characters
