Collar Bomb Movie Rating: 2 Stars
Just watched Collar Bomb movie on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this movie.
Cast: Jimmy Sheirgill, Asha Negi, Sparsh Shrivastav and Rajshri Deshpande
Director: Dnyanesh Zoting
Release Date: 9th July 2021 (On Disney Plus Hotstar VIP)
Story: Set in the beautiful city of Sanawar, film begins with a typical father-son conversation between a celebrated cop Manoj Hesi (Jimmy Sheirgill) and Akshay (Naman Jain). Their smooth car ride is interrupted by an ominous event which reminds Manoj a few flashes of his tumultuous past. Later, the duo land up at the town’s top school St George for Akshay’s admission.
The boy is left upset when he discovers that his admission is a ‘thank you’ from this school for his father solving a complicated death case linked to one of their missing students. Before Manoj and his son can have a proper conversation over this a suicide bomber Shoeb Ali (Sparsh Shrivastav) walks in the hall and holds students as hostages with Manoj Hesi and his son.
Bomber is working for an anonymous lady with selfish motives and demands parents to kill their partners to save their children and also asks Hesi to track down the parents and fulfill his demands. On the other hand, ASI Sumitra (Asha Negi) is also trying to solve the riddle while IRF arrives at the scene to deal with the suicide bomber.
The rescue task by Manoj Hesi to free the students kept hostage dwells into his past and unknown dark skeletons from the grave of Manoj Hesi’s past arrive to stare at the top cop’s integrity. Finally he got know the mastermind of this attack is Mita (Rajshri Deshpande). Who is Mita and why is Manoj Hesi the chosen one by the suicide bomber. To know the answers of these questions you need to watch this film.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch in my free time as trailers looks good.
The story takes place in a small town in Himachal Pradesh where a suicide bomber holds a school full of children hostage. The key to saving their lives lies in the past of the celebrated cop (who is also captive). Will he be able to catch the mastermind and save lives?
The only good thing about Collar Bomb is first half and it’s length. Thankfully, the creators didn’t take more than 86 minutes to wind up this dreary mess especially with the climax. Film manage to keep you hooked but climax simply fails to make a loud blast which impacts the overall movie as well because we expect a better from movie from actor like Jimmy Shergill. My view on this movie (Time Pass).
