Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer of 2md season planned to watch on premiere date time because watched 1st season and it was very good and new season also looked interesting.

Major Monica Mehra has been promoted to Military Intelligence. When a man tries to assassinate Chief Minister Joshi during the Kargil Day celebrations, Monica gets involved in a twisted and complex case that has much more beneath it than what meets the eye. While she follows her hunch that the man behind the mission is an insider in the army, what new obstacles would she have to surpass to reach the culprit in question? Perhaps, the question should be, will she reach the culprit in question at all.

Code M season 2 has corruption at different levels as the central theme, with a vigilante team targeting corrupt individuals who were responsible for the lives of innocent soldiers. It is fast-paced and engaging from the word go. An investigation led by a woman army officer was a fresh change in the first season and how it evolves this time around remains to be seen. The drama certainly raises its voice against corruption at various levels, as well as how it affects Army officials who are dying as a result of it. Despite having such material in hand, the screenplay isn’t particularly strong, and Major Mehra’s past, which is linked to the case of scams to be exposed, consumes the majority of the screen time. The action, on the other hand, happens organically and at regular intervals. We get fist fights, explosions and dramatic chases that are served in small doses, so it doesn’t become overbearing, but rather absorbing.

Overall, new season able to deliver another riveting thriller to the viewers as it did in the previous season. It may be a little low on execution, but it is a step up in terms of story twists and performances. Makers also spills some interesting beans about the upcoming season. My view on this series Highly Recommended.
