Now I will share the details of this game match in my way.

2nd ODI (India Vs West Indies)
Game Date: 24th July 2022
Details:
West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran won the toss and elected to field first in the 1st ODI against Team India at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. Avesh Khan made his debut today in the place of Prasidh Krishna.

West Indies scored 3116 in their 50 overs after batting first. WI have managed to post quite a challenging total for the visitors. Electing to bat first, the openers got them off to a quick start as they scored 45 runs in the first 6 overs. Kyle Mayers was the aggressive batter up front as that allowed Shai Hope to get his eye in. Shamarh Brooks got off to a pretty good start as well, however, just like Mayers, even he failed to convert that start. Shai Hope became the fourth West Indian batter to score a century in his 100th ODI and Pooran too played a pivotal knock that consisted of six maximums. Wasn’t a great debut for Avesh Khan either, but with three successive totals of 300 in this series already, India would fancy their chances to chase it down. Shai Hope scored 115 runs of 135 balls and Skipper Nicholas Pooran scored 74 runs of 77 balls. For Team India, Shardul Thakur picks 3 wickets for 54 runs in his 7 overs.

Team India chase down the target successfully by scoring and 312/8 in 49.4 overs and won the game by 2 wickets. Axar Patel has stolen this for India. His imperious hitting towards the end did the job. Some clean hits kept India in the chase when the pressure was on and it continued till it got India over the line. Iyer and Samson revived the hopes for India after they were three down for 79. But both could only get fifties. Then Hooda joined hands with Axar only for the latter to carry the baton till the end. Avesh Khan swinging hard and getting a couple of fours also took the pressure off Axar as well. Windies need to just lift themselves up as they were so close to a win only to fall cruelly short. Axar Patel scored 64* of 35 balls and Shreyas Iyer scored 63 runs of 71 balls. For West Indies, Alzarri Joseph & Kyle Mayers picks 2 wickets each.
