Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I have watched the trailer of this series planned to watch in free time as it’s based college drama and always fond of such series/movies.
The story of the Campus Diaries series revolves around Six students of Excel University. This series isn’t your typical college drama because it goes beyond the typical frolic and friendship plots that most youth dramas portray and tackles important but under-reported issues like ragging, societal biases-based discrimination, one-sided love stories, rampant drug abuse, and toxic relationships that shape your personality and prepare you to face the real world.
First of all, the thing that catches our attention immediately is the length. It instantly feels way too long for a series set on campus, and that is a coming of age drama. And that is what happens as the narrative progresses. Besides the love stories and their related drama, there is also time devoted to friendship and some parts related to college politics. The script bringing all these elements together is not tightly knit. Performances, few relatable moments of everyone’s college life with excellent climax are positives of this series.
Overall, Campus Diaries is a routine college-based coming of age drama with neat performances all around. It is also a tiring watch due to its massive run time. My View on this web-series Time Pass only if you likes college drama and cannot finish a length series in a day.
